We were traveling with our small dog and booked the Siesta Suite - top floor.  It was very rushed booked Friday to stay Sat & Sun, Tyler was great.  Loved how well equipped the room was - Keurig coffee pods, tea & bottled water small fridge.  California King was super comfortable!   Very clean.  Nice sitting area on deck that we'll use when we return in end of May.  When we needed to extend our stay Tyler went above & beyond to contact the others guests to see if they would change rooms so we could stay put.  They did!  So got another 2 nights, without any hassle.  Excellent value & service!  Cindy & Rick 


Excellent stay in super clean "Pet designated" Room

Very disappointed in the service provided. The owner was rude and uninterested in providing a positive experiences for guests. The owner made comments explicitly stating they did not care about guests when thinking they were out of earshot. Would not recommend.

Terrible Service

DO NOT STAY HERE. Not great value for the price(off season), dirty floors, incredibly RUDE management / owners, wifi does not work, loud TV in common area which spreads into guest rooms.

I’ve never had such inhospitable hosts/hotel management in my life(I travel frequently).

Horrible stay, rude management

We booked a night here for the end of the month. Due the forest fires, dangerous air quality and now Covid-19 resurgence, we tried to postpone our stay at this inn. We were told to go through Expedia to get our refund. Expedia in turn to go through the hotel. We lost $240 and did not receive any money back. The hotel front desk (Elize) has terrible customer service and refused to acknowledge that there may be some issues, despite that provincial government  health minister insisting not to travel to the region.  When I tried to speak to the Manager the front desk just hung up on me.

The current forest fire situation prevents us from taking our July 2021 vacation to the area. Advised that because we prepaid the whole amount we were not entitled to ANY refund - we paid $220 for one night and we got NOTHING back. Very poor customer service in my opinion

Forest Fires prevent your holiday? Too bad

My partner and I had planned a stay at this bnb in mid-March.  However, due to the pandemic we had no choice but to change dates. We honestly received really terrible customer service from management. The woman at the front desk was okay to speak with, however, I could hear a co-worker in the background whispering things to her while we were on the phone. For example, when we asked to move our reservation forward noting that part of our trip had included visiting my grandmother and we had to delay due to the ongoing pandemic, the co-worker, presumably the owner, whispered 'just tell her it's a new policy, I don't care about her grandmother, too bad'. So when the woman relayed to me that she could not move our reservation as this was a new policy, clearly this was made up on the spot, and she didn't realize I could hear the man in the background. We had pre-paid in full and received no money back and very little room to change dates – we were offered no empathy or flexibility.

I felt that the staff at Casa Grande could have been a lot more reasonable about our situation and the continued whispered rude commentary from the co-worker in the background was unnecessary and showed very poor customer service. My family and I will never stay at this establishment again. Truly disappointing.

Poor Customer Service & Money Grab

We had this hotel booked for our wedding accommodations. Our wedding was cancelled due to COVID19 and the government shutting down travel. They refunded half of our (non refundable) deposit but would not refund the rest (I got extra punished because I booked through Expedia and had to pay the full amount, where those who booked directly only had to put 1/2 down). Anyway they have since sold out the hotel for the weekend of course. Enjoy your free $500.

Money grab

Our room for three nights in the Casa Grande Inn was the “siesta” room. It’s unique as there is an outside entry making it more private from other rooms in the inn. In addition this room has a large private deck with a view to the mountains (side location, no beach view), with table and chairs. As the weather was good, we used the patio a lot.
The room itself was not large, but adequate with a king sized bed, small table and chairs, one reading chair and a small refrigerator. There is a large window opposite the entry door that offers a peekaboo beach view. The bathroom is bright with an obscured window and a skylight.
Pros: great location across from the beach, quiet space and pet friendly. Breakfast is included; a typical spread with fruit salad, cereals, yogurts, fresh baked muffins and toast, served in the breakfast room in the inn. Friendly inn keeper and beautiful common space.
Be aware of: two steep flights of stairs, very soft mattress (time to replace), odd red and black linens ( supposed to match the room decor), no in room coffee maker, no dresser for clothes (closet only), and poor water pressure in the shower.
All said we’d probably stay again in the siesta room on our next visit to Penticton.

Unique accommodations near beach.

I am pretty sure we were given the storage room. That is all I am going to comment.nice shower. Make sure you don't get the hideaway room. $20 backpacker room for big bucks.lady that runs it  was very attentive. That was the only good comment I would have.

Don't believe the pictures

Two flights of steep stairs led to the room, Siesta, that we inhabited for four nights.  The room contained an uncomfortable bed, a small round table with two chairs, and an adjacent small, airless bathroom.  The bed was soft with a strange plush-like mattress pad and sateen bedding.  The patio with so-called mountain view was baking as it receives direct sun most of the day and the view itself  is actually of the rooftops and parking areas of adjacent buildings.  The Innkeeper never introduced herself and during most of our encounters seemed preoccupied.  She did make a good fresh fruit bowl for the breakfast buffet.  She also baked muffins but didn't remember to put them out on two of the four mornings until after we had finished eating.  We would not choose to stay here again.
