Would not recommend to anyone based on our experience. The old lady that works there is a big lier, disrespectful and in the way she was treating us a racist. She was bad, bad, bad! So, so, Schlecht! Room that she was trying to give us was filthy. Pool dirty. The old lady was lying to us in front of our eyes. She took half of our payment ($890) and we did not even sleep a night in this filthy accommodation.

0 stars for service, rooms and pool.

I wish I could rate this motel less than a 1 star. The pool is distrusting and you can not see to the bottom of the pool. The beds are so bad that two family’s bought blow up mattresses from Canadian tire. The appliances don’t work. Rationed toilet paper

Worst motel in penticton

joined up with some friends here for bike riding and wine tours.. its clear the owner is struggling with the covid restrictions and staffing for housekeeping ( saw her doing the laundry a couple of times.. 

wifi was inconsistent  ( password changed daily  - apparelty there was a tenent she was trying to evict?) and our TV did not work, otherwise the property is well situated, bedding is comfy and clean..  

only ask is that they put some energy into cleaning the filters in the in room AC units... they smell way better ( and work better) when the filter element is rinsed clean... ( I did this for room 227 over by the pool ( hose area)

Four couples stayed there in 2018 for the car show. Overall the place is "ok" but needs more upkeep and amenities( you need to get little bags of ice from the office) One of our group had to cancel because of a serious family emergency, they were charged full price for one night then the owner rented the unit out at full price  which we knew because we watched the unit. I have tried to get a cancellation confirmation several times  because we won't be there this year but the owner won't give one. We stayed there in 2018 when another couple were running it and they were fantastic. Overall we have a bad feeling about dealing with this owner and won't be back .

Location is the good part

We got the last available room, on the Sept. long weekend.  
In Point Form:
Very nice staff...Very friendly (Irish lady at front desk).
Very clean room.
Good comfortable bed.
Tables and chairs outside of each room, for relaxing in the warm evening air.
Heated pool.
2 BBQ's for your usage.
Has a restaurant...We did not use this facility.
The rate was a bit high, in my opinion...but then it was definitely tourist season (actually the last day of it). However for this city, and being right across from Okanogan Lake.and beach, it is reasonable.
The room is showing its age, and not smelly like many other older hotels. The cleanliness, is why.
Would I stay here again?  Definitely.

NIce but dated

Crown royal in Penticton is a fantastic place for families and adults! They have a heated pool on the premises that is great when you have 7 grand kids under 4 and Granny and Pops is looking after them! It’s gated and safe! The motel is across the street from the water which has a great play area on the lake! The owner is an amazing lady! My husband and I have been there ourselves and just love it! Thanks for the memories Crown Royal!😁😁

Yearly family trip!

We just finished our five night stay and I'm posting to say what a great time we had. Our one bedroom suite was basic, but provided everything we needed. The location cannot be beat and we were able to walk everywhere. I appreciated that we had a designated parking spot so that if we did return later in the evening, we didn't have to search for a parking spot. We stayed on the second floor and there were never any noise issues from neighbours. The customer service was always friendly and our room was tidied every day. It was hard to get a wifi connection which was disappointing. My only other gripe was the air conditioning. If we kept the bedroom door shut, the room would have been cool enough. Our kids were sleeping in the living room and the AC was not powerful enough to cool the whole suite so it was quite stuffy at nighttime.  Overall, I would recommend staying here and would not hesitate to return.

A very pleasant stay

Unfortunately I can’t review the motel because I wasn’t allowed to stay here.  My wife and I provided the front desk with our VISA and they confirmed a one night stay. We happily cancelled our flights and prepared to stay there.  Lo and behold the owner calls us back and an hour later and says that “oh sorry we made an error” and you can’t stay here tomorrow”. This is a total lie because her employee showed me the computer showing the vacant rooms, but the owner told him “I can get more if we book for two nights”

So I showed looking for my room and told the owner that her employee showed me the computer which showed vacant rooms.  She starts screaming at me. In a calm voice I explained that she is lying because I know there are rooms available.  Then she threatened to call the police so I left.

Greedy, untruthful people.  Stay clear.  If you do book, make sure you have alternative reservations in case the owner decides to cancel your reservation.

Greedy and the management lies

First of all my hotel experience was beyond amazing for a great rated hotel the rooms are so clean and the bed is so comfortable it made me fell back at home but even better. The lady Who runs the motel is one of the nicest people I've ever met , She probably is the nicest person I've ever met. The Pool there is like a brand new pool 
I'ts just so clean and the nicest pool I've felt going in does no make you cold it just makes you exited and ready to have lots of fun.overall the hotel is home for me I've been coming to this hotel for 8 years and every single one is a long lasting memory. It may not look like a great hotel by its looks but it is once you experience it. I guarantee you will have a wonderful stay if you went to this Hotel
