We were fortunate enough to have the corner room on the second floor and so had a perfect view of the park across the street and the Rocher de Percé and Île Bonaventure across the water. Wonderful. Easy walk to many restaurants and shops. Definitely worth the stay.

What a view!

A very comfortable bed with soft pillows and strong water pressure in the shower and a restaurant with delicious food made staying at the Manoir de Percé a very enjoyable experience. Also, has a great view from the 2nd floor of the Rocher de Percé.

Excellent hotel in Perce

The restaurant had a lovely and relaxing ambiance with soft non-intrusive music.  We very much appreciated the service!  

The ingrediants were fresh... for two people, full course meal, be prepared to pay between $100 - $200.

I had an ocean view room located the second floor. I can see rock Perce and sunrise directly in front of my room. Wifi signal is good. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was included and is buffet style.
But the room and furnitures were outdated. There were no vents in bathroom.

I am sure the rehabilitation of the shoreline and the re-development of the town center are at the roots of a new spirit and cheerful optimism in the local business community and among the population in general. 

Dynamic and upbeat about the future, the new owners Alain and Marie-Josée are among those to substantially invest in their newly acquired property and they did not waste any time to start redecorating the rooms and renovating their restaurant. Between them, they have licenses for fishing tuna and lobster, Alain's main occupation, so you can be sure that the seafood served in their dining room will be the freshest. Indeed, the lobster coming from the Bay in front of their hotel is one of the best we have had this year. 

While not listed on the menu, we also enjoyed an excellent spaghetti with the tastiest meatballs we have ever come across, a real delicacy. Tip of the hat to whoever created the dish. Building on that talent would be a good idea and have more appeal, I am sure, than a 40 or 60$ TripeA+ steak that is not tender, as was the case at our table. Nothing wrong with focusing a little more on the average tourist coming through town. Also, what comes out of the kitchen is one thing, but how it comes out of the kitchen is something different. Particularly with the owners' gastronomic philosophy in mind, I would keep a close eye on that aspect of the business. A final thought; we very much enjoyed Alain's entertainment. It was a great evening.

A new spirit

Clean  comfortable room. Breakfast was included and very good with a nice selection.  Perfect location for exploring Perce. Friendly staff. We were with a bus tour group and we were pleased with the accommodations. We had a balcony to sit and visit with the others and looked out over Perce Rock.

This is our second visit to this hotel. The first was just after 9/11. Our room was on the ground floor on the end. Yes, we could see the seashore. But the road outside our window was closer. Though, the noise during the night was very low. I would love to ban motorcycles at anytime.
The bed was very hard and my joints suffered badly.
On Monday morning the garbage is picked up from five bins lined up outside our window for the task. Time  7.00 am. Very noisy.
There are ten steep steps up to the office. There is a "ramp". I would not like to be the one to push a wheelchair up it, or in the wheelchair coming down it. The restaurant is next to the office.

Very hard bed

I was very disappointed with restaurant part of the motel, I found them overpriced for what they served. The seafood chowder had no flavor and the caesar salad was meager, lacking garlic and had very little dressing, it was dry. It was so noisy because of the live singer and we were surrounded by extremely loud people, my husband and I could hold a conversation because we couldn't hear each other. The room was clean and well kept, I loved the view.

Restaurant could be better

I phoned a month ahead to book 2 rooms and they were at the back of the hotel and at at the side. They were so tiny, the door hit the bathroom door when you opened it!  
  The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable, but I was disappointed in the size of the room, 2 people could barely get around in it ( and we are not big people!) So I found this place very pricey for the size of the room. There was a fridge, which was a bonus.
  The rest of the hotel inside is lovely wood and the dining room great. Breakfast not included. 
The location is fabulous!! It is right across from the  water where there is a great playground for kids,  a boardwalk and all the restaurants etc on the main street where you are.  Just a bit overpriced for the room size, that's my only complaint.

Lovely hotel, but teeny rooms

This hotel has age on it. The owner does take very good care. The place is clean , but the furnishing are a little dated. The owner or mgr. was very nice r He spoke very good english. He did recommend a good restaurant.The hotel is  very close  to shops and restaurants.
