This chaming little place has everything you want and need!  Very clean, very well equipped!  The location is awesome, there is a beautiful trail along the river in the forest, leading to the sea!!!
Would recommend it to everyone!

Gem in the North!

Wonderfully quaint chalets with a well equipped and adequately stocked kitchen, two bedrooms with comfortable beds. And what a location! On the banks on River of Ponds and a trail along the river that leads you right up to the ocean where the river meets it! The owners Jackie and Hiram House are so cordial. Jackie showed us to the chalet and explained where we can find all that we needed for the stay. It is just an hour away from Gros Morne. I would highly recommend that you stay here to see the whole of Western Newfoundland. I wish we had reserved this place for at least two nights!

A hidden gem close to Gros Morne National Park! Well appointed quaint chalets!

My family and I stayed here for two nights while visiting the area.  The scenery from our cabin was second to none. Listening to the river out front was mesmerizing.  Cabins were nice and came with everything you needed to make it feel like home.  TV was fuzzy, but we didn't have much time for watching tv except late at night.  Laundry facilities were included.  We really enjoyed our stay here!

Amazing accommodations; outstanding scenery

My husband and I spent a few days at the Riverside Chalet in River of Ponds, NL. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Very quiet location. Beautiful well maintained hiking trail along the river to the ocean. A must for beach explorers. Fully furnished with a BBQ on the patio overlooking the river/lake. Would definitely stay here again. Exceptional value.

Relaxing

We stayed here in August. We fell in love with the place. My husband fished as I sat in the front listening to the river reading my book. Walking trails from the cabin alongside the river were beautiful.  Cabin was by far the best cabin we have every stayed in!  Very very clean, staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Highly highly recommend!  Well make this place a yearly vacation spot! 

Amazing 

Comfortable two bedroom cabin with a very well stocked kitchen. Was only there one night but had a pleasant stay. Rain kept us from doing the full trail but the portion I walked was very well maintained. Friendly owner. Would highly recommend!

Lovely location beside river,  a pleasant stay.

Nice, clean cottages stocked with everything you need. The thing that bothered me was the stove:  it only had one setting and that was on HIGH. Fortunately I only had to make eggs and cheese so that was quick. Burns easily so I had to be careful. And very little dish detergent.

Vacation in Newfoundland

I went to Pigeon Forge for vacation with no back pain.  After sleeping one night on their beds everyone in the cabin woke up complaining of back pain.  I called the office and was told they were sorry but there was nothing they could do.  I emailed them after the 3rd night and didn’t get to speak with anyone until the next morning to which I was told they could bring some air mattresses up to the cabin for our last night.  I was told it wasn’t a cabin they owned and there was nothing more they could do.  I have plans to return for New Years with a larger group and I will not reserve with Riverside chalets.  We paid over $800 for a two bedroom cabin that was definitely not worth the money we spent.
