Perfect for retreats of all kinds.  I  have gone twice once with a daughter.  The settings is simple, attractive and functional. Thoughtfully put together to provide for my needs with comfortable bedrooms and healthy food.  The instructors have been skillful and kind

You Deserve This

I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never done a yoga/meditation retreat before, but as someone working on recovery from ME/CFS, a retreat entitled "The Art of Rest" seemed like the perfect invitation. 

During the first session our Yoga teacher Jen encouraged us to do what we needed to do to take care of ourselves and put us at ease. Jen is an absolutely amazing human being. Throughout the retreat she made us feel cared for and comfortable. I would have never thought that I would get so much out of a single weekend, but I came home transformed, and yet in a way more authentically me.  I can't wait to go back.

What a great experience

I first heard of Sugar Ridge Retreat Centre through a family member who attended the Sacred Journey with Liz & Friends Retreat hosted in the fall (September) of 2018. 

My first time at Sugar Ridge was absolutely incredible because I had the time and space to work on my inner self. Healing and the journey of life can becoming lost in our current world. Sugar Ridge offers more than a place to escape that busy day-to-day grind we so often find ourselves living in, it offers us a glimpse into the beauty of life and enables us to cultivate that within our own lives. 

I walked away from this retreat centre with a new grasp on life, and whats ahead. We all have the power to heal ourselves and Sugar Ridge opens the door for that healing to cultivate. I have continued to find growth and recharge through varies retreats offered here including; Horse Therapy Retreats, 5 Day Silent Retreat, Sound Bath Concerts and many meetings with some of our worlds top energy healers and teachers. 

The owner who built this beautiful space for us, Liz Frost, is the most welcoming human I have ever met. She takes time with her guests and is very accommodating with any needs you may have. She is a beacon of light showing us that life can be whatever you want it to be and to enjoy the journey.

Had a wonderful day retreat at Sugar Ridge retreat. I attend  the Art of Healing with Aarole Lawrence. 
It was insghtful and informative. I will be attending the next one in August. Lunch was delicious! It is a very restful place. Next time I might stay the night!

Surgar Ridge retreat

I can't recommend Sugar Ridge Retreat Centre enough. I was feeling burnt out from work and was looking for a yoga retreat for some 'me' time. Upon reflecting on the beautiful locale and cabins, delicious food and the wonderful, 'no pressure' yoga and Qi Gong (try it) teacher, I can say that I found the perfect place. Just wonderful. I can't wait to find the time to visit again.

Who wouldn’t love this. Peaceful, inspiring, friendly, surrounded by nature, clean and basic, wonderful food.  So much learning and healing takes place at these retreats.  it’s dog friendly and vegan.  I love both working here, and coming as a participant. I’ve enjoyed probably more than 30 retreats over the years.

Words cannot possibly describe how profound of an experience this retreat was for me.  This was my first silent retreat and I was afraid the silence would feel limiting or oppressive but it was the complete opposite. Liz does a wonderful job of holding space and has managed to find the balance between being present without being overbearing and offering space without being absent.  I very highly recommend Sugar Ridge to anyone looking for a time out to re-discover their own unique magic. 

Wonderful and profound expereince

it was my second weekend retreat at sugar ridge and i loved it again!
the vegetarian meals are tasty, the programming is interesting and enjoyable
and the sleeping cabins are simple but comfortable.

sugar ridge seems to attract lovely guests.  the ambiance is always relaxed,
friendly and fun!  and i especially love that it's pet friendly.

another great weekend retreat

Fantastic time relaxing and learning so much. Liz runs an amazing retreat. Book now you will be happy you did. Rooms were perfect. Beds so lovely to sleep in. Surrounded area is beautiful and I can’t even say enough about the amazing food created for you while you’re there. Yoga was top notch. Can’t wait to go back !
