Lovely little place, very clean and many original vintage features. Friendly and caring owner. There is a small pool and decent breakfast included. Easy walk into town. We saw deer, hummingbirds and chipmunks while having breakfast outside.

Cute and comfy motel

I’ve been coming to the Evergreen motel during my road trips for the past several years. I enjoy its simple and vintage atmosphere. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay: hot shower, comfortable bed, reliable wifi, room to stretch, big window, quiet considering it’s on a highway, great hospitality/service, easy highway access which makes it fast for traveling. The owner (I think he’s the owner) has been incredibly accommodating to my later arrivals and early departures. Before Covid, he would ask me my departure time so he could get up and make me a cup of coffee for the road!

Perfect for my road trips

We need a quick place to stay   It was a super hot day in August and the look of the pool was wonderful. Really nice guy greeted us and gave us a room no problem. The place was clean and people were very nice. It’s not a place you are going to get room service   We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

My husband and I went here for the May long weekend and brought our bikes. We had a wonderful time. the place was clean and very nice. The owner was very friendly and we had breakfast with him every morning! We are thinking of going back again this May long weekend!

quiet getaway

Opened the door to a stale smell....Almost left !
Turned old furnace style heater on ( probably first time in a few weeks ). After a while the room warmed up, the smell resided, and it actually became more comfortable. Very clean though.
Shower drain was partially plugged, subsequently, we stood with water above our ankles to shower.
Hey, basement price - what can you expect ? The cleanliness saved the day !
Recommend to management that they leave some heat on over winter.
Breakfast, by the way, was comically lacking.
Management friendly.

Bargain basement special ....

We were tired and stopped here last minute. I was really sceptical . The room was outdated and stale smelling but i aired it out smooshed a couple spiders and it was okay. It was clean.  We went out to the pool with real trepidation  but hopped  in and absolutely  loved it!it was heated and was very clean.  The next morning we went for our free breakfast which was pretty pathetic but better than in other inexpensive  hotels. Over all i really liked this divey hotel and would stay there again.

We stayed at Evergreen Motel for a night during our holidays last August. The motel is very clean and people nice but it is very old. I think it is suitable only for easy going people with not high expectations and not more than a night. It worked for us this time but we would not go back and I would not recommend to anybody.

Only for a night

The motel may be old and out-dated, but this is a little gem. Immaculately clean, spacious room. Super comfy beds and a fair bit of space. The bathroom could do with some updating, but perfectly good for a night or two. The pool is divine, and lots of seating all over the property. Very peaceful at night. The owners are a super delightful couple and a real pleasure to meet.

An oldie but a goodie!

An older property, but receiving lots of TLC.  A very spacious room with fridge, micro and colorful bathroom towels, far better than stark white!!  BBQ outside.  Comfortable bed and while on highway, quite quiet.  On the outskirts of town, but only a 2 minute drive to all shops.  Breakfast was simple (cereal and toast), but perfectly adequate.  Pool area was nice and the pool itself, spotless.  All in all a great little place to stay!!!

A little gem at a great price

Dont understand why this motel has my husband and i's photo up as management when we dont even work there.some false advertisement iam thinking.and nothing i can do about it says tripadivor...hope the owner reads this and removes itNOW
