We stayed in sunrise suite two nights. Super hot up there! Even in September, opening the window did not help (only one window could be opened). The view did not make up for it. Also, not much breakfast or selection.

The Garden Room and bathroom were perfect. There was a great amount of space, everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is a wonderful window seat in the room with a lovely view.
The breakfasts each morning were delicious. It was so lovely to have different homemade food each morning.
The communal areas were large and clean with the most wonderful views.
Susan is the perfect host with brilliant knowledge of the local area.

Brilliant host, excellent room, beautiful views

Stayed two nights in Sunrise Suite, very nice and clean facilities with a great view. BUT we were truly so disappointed with the very limited breakfast. I had emailed earlier saying my wife was not a egg and bacon breakfast fan and that fruit & yoguart would be great. I even mentioned it again when we arrived and that we like strong coffee. Alas the first morning, one small glass of juice each, a sml omelet for me , small bowl of granola to share with yogurt and a bowl of fresh raspberries. When  I asked for more fruit we were told we had the fresh  blackberries.and my wife was offered toast. Alas coffee was quite weak . For such a expensive place and nice place the least they could offer was more choices,  Next morning even with two other couples we were offered a very limited buffet style breakfast ....... we just left and decided ro catch the ferry, were so so disappointed. 
 

Nice and clean and a wonderful location and view BUT

What a lovely place to stay.  The rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean; open areas inviting and the food was very tasty.  Homemade treats are just the best to make you feel welcome.  Susan was a wonderful hostess.  She was helpful with ideas of things to see in the area and places to enjoy our other meals.

Peaceful and a beautiful view

Susan provided encouragement and advice prior to our kayak trip into the unknown. This is a wonderful base to explore the Discovery Islands by kayak knowing that there is a comfortable bath to return to!
We will return.

A haven before the wilderness!

My husband and I stayed two nights at QI Harbour House. The Sunrise Suite (upstairs) was very clean, the bed comfortable, the view superb. Susan was very welcoming and helpful, but we did not see her often nor for very long.
We feel the accommodation lacked privacy: the suite door could not be locked and the bathroom was fitted with a French glass door!
The breakfasts were filling, but plain and basic: self-serve juice, granola, scrambled eggs, toasts/muffins and coffee - both mornings. No mouth-watering culinary delicacy prepared and served proudly, which is most often the highlight of our B&B stay.
A lovely location, but a disappointing experience.
Note: TripAdvisor Property Amenities shows a hot tub, there is none.

Disappointed

It is a beautiful home with a good view of Rebecca Spit, very comfortable also with a very welcoming owner.   We used this as a base for hiking several of the long trails, and for a day trip kayaking.   It is walking distance to Heriot Bay and the restaurant and pub.

A great base for hiking or day kayaking trips

We stayed for 2 nights; Susan, our hostess, was extremely helpful with tips and advice prior to our arrival. We had the house to ourselves, apart from a couple of other guests, whom we hardly saw - there are 3 self contained bedrooms - so could access the lounge, kitchen and decks as if in our own home. I loved Susan's style, the understated elegance of this property as well as her thoughtful touches such as home made jams, raspberries from her garden and maps of the island. Breakfast was fabulous - a berry compote, omelette with vegetables, coffee and muffins - and was served on the comfortable and spacious balcony. I really loved staying here and would definitely return.

We spent 4 nights here and what a wonderful place it is. Susan gave us such a warm welcome and it was lovely to sit at her table with a mug of tea and a pile of maps while she gave us an introduction to the island and the locality.
She is such a wonderful hostess and we felt at home from the minute we arrived.
Our suite upstairs was wonderful and had the most stunning views across to Rebecca Spit and the islands beyond.
Breakfast was really good each morning with home made granola and a different baked option every day.
We would love to have stayed longer. Thanks so much Susan!

Just WOW!

Three years after a previous visit we were back @ Susan's lovely B&B in september 2017. We stayed for 5 days over a period of 2 weeks in the oceanview suite between a couple of paddling trips.

I was pleased to see that all good things we thought of the Harbour House stll are present or maybe even improved....

Great breakfast at whatever time of the day you neded to get up (early to paddle or late between trips)
Susan is always helpful in arrranging stuff like a taxi or dropping you of somewhere
The room was superclean.
Great bed. Super-matras.
Good soap/shampoo provided in the room.
