This is a well-located and nicely decorated hotel with restaurants nearby (including a Tim Hortons--that does matter!). Check in was efficient and friendly. Wifi worked well. Bed and pillow comfortable. Everything seemed clean and sanitized. TV was a bit slow (dish?) and limited stations. Parking more than adequate. Little road noise even though our room faced the freeway.

No Complaints, Everything In Order

Not recommended at all for business travellers if you need internet. Their internet totally sucks. 3.5mbps download and 0.6mbps upload. Unacceptable in 2022. 
Front desk agents didn't give any solution and they seems not to care at all about complaints. It's like that or go somewhere else if you don't like it. 
These people still don't get it that if you offer a fast internet connection you will have more business. With the price paid, which is on the expensive side for the city, they shouldn't have any issue offering a decent fibre internet connectivity. 
The floor was all sticky under the desk from previous clients' stuff. Clearly they didn't mop the floor.

Ther Internet Sucks. Dirty guest rooms.

Our original plan was 1 night which turned into a 2nd and perhaps a 3rd which we were unsure of. The hotel expected to be busy on the 3rd night so rather us lose our room as we were undecided, they held it for us until we decided. The front desk staff were very professional and a joy to deal with. Our last day was not the regular housekeeping day but I asked for fresh sheets and they accommodated us there as well. The hotel is a quick trip into old Quebec and very easy to get to. Thanks N Hotel!

Extremely accommodating

Room was very clean, great water pressure in shower. 20% discount was great for breakfast at the restaurant next to the hotel. Easy to leave the car at the hotel free parking and use the city bus to get into Quebec City (where parking is difficult)! The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly!

Great hotel (right outside of Quebec City) for value, condition and location!

Amazing shower, comfortable bed, old but practical room! $175 tax in for an overnight… room had a mini fridge, microwave, and king sized bed. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The shower was high pressure and hot…. Still dreaming of it! 

Excellent location… near Montmorency Falls, many restaurants within walking distance, and right off the highway on our way back from Charlevoix to Montreal. 

They give you a 20% off coupon for breakfast at the Normandin restaurant next door — make a reservation! 

Would return if in the area.

Close to restaurants but everything normandin whether its restaurant or hotels is wildly overpriced compared to other places .

our room was very clean, it had a great shower and was very quiet. The beds were comfortable and had nice pillows and bedding. We will  stay again if in the area. we had a nice view of the river and downtown Quebec and there were lots of restaurants around.

It was all good until we hada dispute with one of the staff (room service) named Stefani. We stayed for one night and the next morning decided to go for breakfast and then comeback and check out. When we came back around 10am Stefani was in our room cleaning. I then politely said we havent yet checked out. I even showed her the keys. She pretended like she didnt understand coz i spoke in english first. Then myself and my friend who speaks french verywell explained that we need to use our room. She just ignored us and closed the door on us. There was another lady cleaning next room even she was smiling at me and explained to Stefani that she should leave. Still she was adamant. We then went inside our room and she still refused to leave. Another cleaning lady came, if i am not mistaken her name eas Manjabine and told Stefani that she is not authorised to stay while the guests are still in there and THEN after all this drama she left. Wow!!! When we were checking out the girl in the reception apologised and said this is not normal and she will address this.
Apart from the crazy experience we loved our stay. The bed, pillows were all amazing. The washroom wasnt as expected. I had to flush 3 times beforw i used it. May be that is to do with such unprofessional room service worker. This raised a questions if the rooms are actually well cleaned as it looks. I would appreciate the management to take an action towards Stefani so that this doenst happen to other guests. I am sorry i have to give you 2 stars because the experience towards the end really ruined my day. Otherwise this would have been a 4 stars experinence Thank you.

It was ok until Stafani (room service) showed up!!!

Third or fouth time staying here.   Rooms are always clean - staff are super friendly and helpful, it is on the bike path which you can use to ride into old Quebec (about a 15-20 min ride at a leisurely pace) or go the other way and it takes you to Montmorency Falls. Or hop in the car, drive 7 - 10 mins and you are on the beautiful island of Ile D'Orleans.  Incredible boulangerie (La Boulange) or the chocolate/ice cream shop in Ste. Petronille.  And the nice thing is the hotel is right in the middle of all of these.  Plus you have restaurants within walking distance (St. Hubert, Normandin - which you also get a 20% coupon off breakfast for each day you stay).  Great value for the money!

Clean, friendly and close to everything

The room was really nice and the staff were very kind and helpful.  They gave me change for a $10 bill so I could take the local bus and showed me how to get to Old Quebec.  They had the information written down on a piece of paper and they also gave me a map of the city.  

They also helped me get a taxi to the airport when it was time for me to leave.  I don't usually write reviews but I really liked this hotel.  

There was even a Tim Horton's across the street.  :)
