Clean and budget friendly hotel, located in the heart of Quesnel.  The only negative thing I can say about this place is that they need a bigger sign.  Very easy to miss the place if you aren't paying attention.

Great location

First time staying. The owner was so friendly and nice, the rooms were clean and affordable. Was so happy I made sure that was the same place I stayed on the way back. Second room was just as clean! 
Will stay again and again!

First, the most important thing: excellent beds! And nice sheets! 
Clean room, newish bathroom, floor tiles etc. 
I was a bit worried about how close to the highway but after about 10pm it was pretty quiet.

Great value

We were on a long road trip and just needed a comfortable and clean place to stay for the night. For $70 Canadian we got what we were looking for. The rooms have been renovated with tile flooring and new bathroom fixtures. There is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was also comfortable.

Good value and clean

The rooms are clean and comfortable.....with a minifridge and microwave. The bathrooms have been updated.... additional fresh paint and renovations ongoing. We found the street a bit noisy but for the price, this place is a gem!

What really stood out for us was the service and character of the owners. We were passing through Quesnel late on the Friday of a long weekend.  We arrived late for our reservation, actually having to call from a nearby parking lot due to car trouble. The staff that turned out to be the owner picked us up and safely escorted us, our vehicle and belongings to his motel.

The next morning, the owner assisted us with some calls and we did our own research. The result? It looked like we would be arriving 'many days late and dollars down" for our destination. Unbelievably, this generous, humble and extremely busy beautiful soul drove us all the way home. (A 13 hour round trip for him). We are eternally grateful and wish your family and business much success!

Off the Charts Hospitality!

There was nothing spectacular about this hotel. It was mostly clean (the headboards could have used a scrub), no bedbugs or strange odours. The unit could have used some renovations - watch your head when using the toilet as the towel shelf sits awkwardly under the window. An electrical outlet was detached from the wall next to the queen bed. There is a little breakfast room with cereals, bread, yogurt, coffee & juice which was kind of nice. Overall I would probably only return if I needed an inexpensive place to stay for a night.

great experience...rooms are clean... good sleep comfy beds...  the owner/caretaker was a good guy sweet man. He took time to talk to us ..tell us about things to do in the area. very helpful...thank you for your hospitality...

Clean Friendly service....

Booked mostly for the good price. This was a cheaper option in the area at this time. We we pleasantly surprised. Although the units were quite old & dated for the most part, they were “super clean”! The beds were extremely comfy, bathroom was re-done so quite nice (shower water temp a wee bit cool), spacious enough & all we needed as far as fridge, microwave & coffee. Light breakfast included too which was surprising for the price too. Staff super kind & friendly too!! Traffic seemed noisy at first but ended up not bothering us at all.

Happily Not Too Bad

I loved this motel! Upon entering the room, I noticed how clean it was and how many amenities you got for an extremely affordable price. Two queen beds, flatscreen, microwave, mini fridge, luggage rack, coffee pot with coffee, broom, hair dryer, dresser, and a spacious tub/shower. 10/10 I would stay here again. If you’re going through Quesnel, you will not be disappointed with this motel.  

A Golden Nugget! 

A work in progress. We were given a bigger room so we could have a fridge with bigger freezer. The room was being worked on and understandably had some latex paint oder.
A one night stay driving north. The staff was polite and helpful.
The motel is on a busy highway so expect truck traffic.
