We stayed at the Cross River Cabin at Nipika for a long-weekend as part of a bike/gravel race at the resort.  We had an AMAZING time.  I was there with my two kids (12 and 14) and my parents (grandparents) and everyone was extremely comfortable, there was everything we needed at the cabin in regards to kitchenware (no toaster) and lots of space for everyone to sleep.  The beds are extremely comfortable. There was so much to do on the resort for the kids being older they had lots of fun at the swimming pond, we used the sauna, we went for a great hike and bike ride right from the resort.  As a family, we all had an amazing time and really enjoyed everything that was at the resort.  We took lots of layers to wear and I definitely recommend using the big plastic bin to put all your dry food goods in (and extra toilet paper) to avoid a mouse being in your cabin.    I think this would be an amazing resort to have a large family gathering with numerous ages of kids, it would be amazing to have a wellness retreat or a wedding there.  There is just so much to do an no need to leave the resort whatsoever.  We had a great little day-trip into Radium Hot Springs to soak but other than that we stayed there and enjoyed our nervous system reset.  Highly recommend!

Grandparents/parents/older kids lvoed it

My wife and I just had a 2 night midweek stay here to cross country ski, etc. and take in the winter. The weather wasn't very cold and the snow could have been awful, but the staff had done an outstanding job grooming both the ski and bike trails. Our accommodation was a beautifully built log cabin, which was well appointed, warm and very well made with local sourced and milled lumber, carefully chinked. A wood burning stove (fuel supplied) was not necessary for the warmth but added to the atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable. A lot of trouble has gone into artwork: even the coffee mugs pictured local scenes. There's enough electricity to charge a phone and for lights, though no wifi. It was good not to have to respond to emails. Steve, the owner, was particularly helpful.

2 nights early February

We went to Nipika with horses and did trail rides. The cabins were amazing! They have a sauna, fresh water pond and gorgeous trails. Can’t say enough good things about this place! The trails are used for cross country skiing in the winter and fat tire biking. Everything is well thought out!

Location : It's in a pretty amazing place. It is truly in solitude except for anyone else at the resort. There are many paths to go off and hike or bike on, they provide the proper materials/equipment to do so in the winter and summer (such as snow bikes). Around the view is incredible, the mountains all around it is really worth going. We brought a drone and were able to grab some pretty awesome photos. It is a decent way from radium hot springs, however the drive there never gets old. 

Actual rooms : You get a cabin, and the cabins are very nice in terms of decoration and amenities. 

Other : There are dogs on the property that you can play with, as well as firepits you can go make fires in. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Beautiful location

What’s to say this team has seen to have perfected trail grooming and maintenance.
Didn’t expect much with the weather conditions with iffy snow depths. Whatever they did it was heroic, trails magnificent and the mountain air and vistas are the real beauty and love of earth. 
Someone asked me recently after watching close encounters of 3rd kind, would you go my answer surprised me, no, where would I cross country ski?

Glory be!

We were a group of friends who spent 3 days at Nipika in early January. We x-country skied the many trails. The scenery is breathtaking! Our cabin was fully equipped with comfortable beds, sofa, dining area and a wood-burning stove. Wood was cut for us and all we had to do was start and keep the fire going. It was so nice to just relax at the end of the day in our cozy cabin. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We had a great time!

Fantastic Mountain Getaway

Perfect in every regard. Clean comfortable accommodations. Well appointed. So much to do. Hiking, biking, swimming, frisbee golf, relaxing. 
Easily one of the Purcell's best kept secret. 
Can't wait until next time.

Amazin

This quiet mountain resort has million dollar views, amazing hiking and biking trails, extraordinary paddling on the Kootenay River with experienced, excellent staff. It’s a “people friendly dog resort”. Would be beautiful in the winter for a trail ski. Awesome.

Our two night stay was perfect for 2020, but I would like to make it a yearly event. Nipiki met all my expectations. The Rocky Mtn. setting is just beautiful and our cabin was lovely. 
The views made all the sports even better. An 18 hole disc golf course is being developed and it’s really fun and challenging. This mountain resort is truly a gem, well built and maintained. 

So great!

Such a lovely location--away from everything. Was fantastic to have no cell service (but there was good wifi if needed)! I was there with friends and our cabin (Bergeron) slept 4 people very comfortably.  The log cabin was rustic looking, but was super cozy inside--very well equipped kitchen, wood stove with firewood right outside, nice sheets and comfy bed, nice toiletries in the bathroom. The setting is absolutely lovely, surrounded by mountains and close to the river. So peaceful and relaxing! I look forward to going back!
