The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The motel is older and in need of updates but the rooms were kept clean, had mini kitchenette, and the AC worked. 
It is a budget motel so it is no frills. If you are expecting the Sheraton, it's probably not the place for you. If you want a clean, simple and centrally located motel, then this is the place. I would definitely stay there again. 

We booked this room somewhat reluctantly based on some reviews and photos on this website (most places in Revelstoke were full). I will echo AliceRandy's review in saying that the office was a little old, dark and worrisome. However, we were welcomed by one of the owner/operators, Jim, who was friendly and efficient. We quickly filled out paper work, got keys, and drove over to our room, and found it to be nicer and roomier than expected. We had a kitchenette room with 2 queen beds and a twin bed. The room was updated, somewhat. I wouldn't describe it as really amazing renovations by any means, but the bathroom had definitely been updated within the last few years, and it was clean and everything worked. The kitchenette was nicely equipped, and served us well. We paid $120/night, so value wise, average I would say. The location is good as well, as they are about 4 to 5 blocks from downtown on a quiet street.

To summarize, I would say: stay here if you want to be within walking distance of downtown, you aren't overly concerned with looks, but you think that a simple room, and genuine people make the difference. I would stay here again, before booking with one of the big chain hotels out by the highway. An affordable, clean, friendly good night's sleep.

Great budget option. 

Older, but clean and friendly.

We arrived at this Motel after several of the recommended ones were already full. When riding a motorcycle it is difficult to pre-book as one never truly knows when you will have to stop riding because of weather. We had to ring the bell and open/close the door to office to get help. The Manager was rude and then blamed his recent heart condition on his lack of.....professionalism. The outside is run down and the room was only slightly better. I accidentally locked the keys in the room and my riding gloves. I was eventually given a spare key but it did not even work-left it and my gloves-done with that DIVE.

Medicore at best

When asking to view rooms we were initially told no as they've had issues with theft. When we were finally able to look at one we decided to pass as the rooms smelled unpleasant and did not feel clean, they were in desperate need of a renovation. We decided to pass on the rooms the male manager as well as a lady in the back yelled profanities at us and were threatening us. Very unprofessional. Disgusting place to stay.

Rude and Unprofessional

We had the same experience as others who have posted.  Called and reserved rooms, called again to confirm only to be told the rooms had been given away and then were hung up on.  Rather then converse as adults they choose to behave like children by lying to, and then hanging up on honest citizens.  If this is how they deal with their fellow citizens before introduction, one can only imagine how they conduct themselves once they have our money.  I say deflate their egos and boycott this motel on principle.

My daughter called to book a room for a few nights and she had to talk briefly to her 2 year old.  He was so offended even when she tried to explain.  He started swearing at her and the room he told her was available, was no longer available.  He hung up on her.  I tried to call back to see what the deal was, but he didn't let me speak either - yelled at me as well and told me to quit calling him and hung up!  He sounded elderly - dementia starting?  I have no idea but it was totally uncalled for.

Never got a chance to stay!

Prebooked in the morning for same day. Drove by the property and looked a little sketchy so went in to the office to ask the manager if we could look at a room. He said no. Told us to look elsewhere if we didn't take the room on the spot. Took a pass on the room. He said we insulted him. Mostly log truck drivers staying there.
