This  B&B is relatively close to the airport and suffers from some airport  noise. Public transport is close by. The B&B is in a very large modern house with expensive furnishings and our room was of a large size and very clean. The bed was very large and comfortable. However, this B&B is more of a small hotel as it lacks any soul and our credit card was charged for our stay days prior to our arrival. The owner seems more concerned about keeping the place meticulously clean than providing a comfortable, homely environment for guests. This ranges from providing only enough seating in a King Room for one person to attending to providing adequate waste bins, tissues, extra toilet paper etc. The  breakfast was a disappointment as it did not match the quality and presentation one would expect in such an environment. It had to be pre-ordered the day before. The cereal (only one choice) was served up in a box and milk in a large plastic milk bottle. The toast was pre-toasted and kept warm in an oven. There was minimal selection of toppings for toast. The owner was reluctant to interact with us as guests preferring to attend to cleaning duties as soon as we had sat down to our breakfast. On our second morning we were 'served' breakfast by a lady who seemed to have forgotten us and then asked us to help her set up for our breakfast. Her lack of English caused many misunderstandings in getting what we had pre-ordered. But the most disappointing thing was that the owner did not even say good-bye to us despite he seeing us leave. A disappointment considering the cost and what we had come to expect during the rest of our trip through various parts of Canada.

An overpriced B&B without much hospitality

Rooms are spacious and clean.  Breakfast very standard.  It is mostly oriented to an Asian clientele.  If you have luggage you should note that there is no elevator and that you will have to remove your shoes at the entrance and negotiate the stairs one or two floors up to the room.  It can be tricky.  I am used to remove shoes, but where I live when you remove your shoes you are offered slippers which can be helpful.  You will need a car to go for dinner or buy something as this is a very residential area and there is nothing around.  The hotel has free parking so no problem to bring your car.  Also Wifi works well.  During day time there is some noise from landing and taking off seaplanes nearby, but quiet at night.  There is a desk with one chair.  Although the room is spacious it has only one chair or the bed, so we took turns to sit down.  A small sitting area would have been a nice touch since there is enough space.  The bathroom is very spacious.  A small problem with toilet was solved quickly.  In sum a place to stay one night close to the airport.  If you are lucky you can see a wonderful sunset.
