What an amazing, wilderness experience! We stayed in one of the log cabins, which have everything you need. 
David and Susan were incredibly helpful, warm & friendly - making our stay enjoyable and comfortable. 
Highly recommend dining at the on-site restaurant as the dinner we had was exquisite - best salmon we've ever had! 
It's also likely you'll see elk and deer roaming around the property!!

What a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. It's such a shame to see these negative reviews, if you had taken a few moments to research the lodge and it's location then you would clearly see that it is remote. But that's what makes this place so good. Kevan and Maz do an excellent job at running the place between them. The surroundings are beautiful and the cabins are very cosy, with a log burning fire and rustic furniture. You can even see the wildlife from your bedroom window! Each night Maz cooks up a different dish, we ate there every night and the food was always excellent. We also managed to rack up quite a tab as we enjoyed drinking in the main lodge, where they provide games and a comfortable atmosphere. The guys made us feel right at home, Kevan even took us out on the lake for some fishing. If you are looking for a secluded retreat then look no further, this place is very special and I'll definitely come back.

A hidden gem

This place is horrid! False advertising,the picture posted is of. Lake Moraine not even near here, no choice in food , not accommodating, we left and couldn't get reimbursed for anything in fact they charged us more on our credit card. It is a total mess and wouldn't waste your time or money here💩

Do not go here!

Only stopped in for a visit, we were staying at the campground but wanted to explore the lodge.  What a cozy little place.  People need to realize this is not close to Jasper, and be advised you'll need to take 35 kms of gravel to get here, and there is no cell service.  However the lodge has free wifi that works great!  There's a little playground out front for the youngsters and inside there's a fully functional bar and kitchen.  I think they told us there's 5 rooms in the lodge and then there's also some stand alone cabins to rent.  The lodge is not right at the lake, but only a short drive from it.  I'd drive to the moose landing campground entrance & access the lake there.  There's a little boat launch area and a bench to sit at.  If you go a little ways past the bench along the shoreline, watch in the trees for an old cabin structure that has collapsed.  The kids thought it was so cool!  Remember though, you are in bear & cougar country, be safe and happy holidaying!
Oh, one last thing, there's a creek/river walking distance from the lodge, you can fish there, it's so clear you can see the fish.

Secluded and deep in the forest...perfect!

My husband and I stumbled across this place by accident and it's a diamond in the rough. 
The two guys that run this place are absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in they treated us like family. We were traveling with our 1 year old son and they were happy to fully accommodate our needs. 
The chef creates a different menu daily and the food was delicious! (Seriously DELICIOUS!) 
The lodge is decorated really cute and it's very clean. 
The wilderness that surrounds the lodge and cabins, from the creeks and the lakes to the hiking trails and walking paths made for a perfect relaxing weekend.  
Highly recommend!
We are already planning our next trip back!
