Had an amazing weekend stay here! Cottages are cute and cozy, plenty of space for a small family. The pool was very well kept and the kids loved it, playground right in the Center of our cottages so was very convenient. The owners were so friendly and very helpful, said hi everyday to us and made sure we had what we needed. Our whole group was so happy with our stay and would recommend staying here again

Grand pre cottages

We LOVED our stay here! We came here with a group of family and friends (9 adults, 3 kids). The pool was crystal clear and the kids had a ball. Every night, we saw the owners check on the pool and made sure it was ready for the next day. In fact, the owners were always making sure everything was going well. They were extremely friendly and made sure to say hello whenever we saw them. The playground was in the center of all the cottages which was great for the kids. The beds were very comfortable and there was lots of extra pillows and blankets. Cottage was nice and clean. Im very happy we decided to stay here and not listen to some of the reviews because they were 100% wrong about this place. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back.

WONDERFUL STAY!

Disgusting service. Place should be condemned. No proper upkeep of anything. The health inspectors should be brought in. If this Chinese group were friendlier locals might engage them. Really just a terrible experience all around

Ling Pang needs to go, horrible

Intimidating, ignorant management. Pool and hot/luke warm tub, operate on any given schedule and barley heated. Bee hive under pool decking. Old furnishings and bbq hardly works. Busiest week of the year in PEI yet seemed like the only place that had vacancy, weird. Please stay anywhere but here as we may never return to PEI due to this place and the treatment we received. Pool closed @8 on a Friday night!

Unprofessional

Lovely cottage, great service, dog friendly, well kept, cleanest pool I’ve ever seen, hot tub, and great wi-if! 
Owners truly care about their cottages and it shows!

Just outside North Rustico PEI perfect spot to get out of town and be close to the beach and in a wonderful community! Family loved it so much we booked two more weeks ❤️❤️

Do not stay here... you will regret it as my family and I do....

We stayed from Friday June 30 to Tuesday July 2. My parents get a cottage every year for Canada weekend and we will never return to this one...

Walked in... filthy wow... had to clean the damn fridge to put our food in it... bathroom.... wow disgusting... and small wow... and just wow almost walked out

So let's start with the pool and hot tub.... oh wait hot tub wasnt cleaned and or ready but were told it would be... pool... well gross... dirty wow just plan gross

Playground wasnt to bad sucks as it was all sand and raining but we cant help that.

So let's just think.... grandparents taking their grandchildren to a cottage aged 2 3 7 and 7. (3 and 7 were there for visits as we live in the area so were there visiting. 

Bbq wouldn't work... they blamed us saying we broke it... and no we did not we went to cook supper for 4 hungry kids and a 6 adults...and no not all these people stayed in the cottage over night...

Most unprepared cottage ever... employees got mad if we asked for anything... garbage bag for garbage extra towels as people have used them... even when we asked about the pool

So Canada day night 950pm knock on the door.... employee standing there... and says... you know visitors can only stay till 11pm we say ok and then he says well since the fireworks are cancelled why not just leave... excuse me yes there was fireworks they just finished and we will leave by 11 like the rules say... 

Then after I had left he kept coming around the cottages making my family uncomfortable. Like no you dont harrass your customers.

So check out day July 2 I showed up to help my mom and sister pack up and clean up some as we have done housekeeping and thought wed be nice and give them a head start as when we checked in it was a mess... 
Employee pretty much shows up saying 
anytime feel free to leave and wouldn't leave our deck as were trying to pack up and keep 4 kids happy... then he complains that the deck has sand on it and there is sand on the floors of the cottage... um ya that stuff happens when you have a playground full of sand...

This place all around is the worst I've seen for cleanliness and rudeness... and customer service wow none there... I personally advise you to steer clear of this place...

So rude like wow... I've seen people fired for less...

Bew owners need to be ontop of their staff and make sure they have proper English and can do their job and not harrass families getting together to celebrate Canada day!!!

Worst place ever wouldn't recommend for anyone!!

We have been going to rustico for 8 years and this has been by far the worst experience....

Should of took the hint when I was greeted with "our hot tub might be dirty so it may not be unuseable" but the kind of people my family and myself are, we give second chances..  well we entered the cottage and it was not to bad. Had a weird smell but it was do able. We started unpacking and the draw in the fridge wasnt cleaned and the coffee maker was a mess. Coffee grinds in it and the top peice were the water comes out was black. I emailed the cottage about it and a guy came up and after telling him everything and wanting to show him. His remark was oh. I thought there was something bigger... the fridge or coffee maker never got cleaned.. he walked away 😲😮 . I was like fine so I cleaned the coffee maker with just water and a cloth but in the picture you can still see the dirt... I Started doing supper.. bbq ran out of propane(the bbqs are very very outdated I might add..) it only cooked the food on two sides. The middle wouldnt cook anything... 

My boyfriend cut his foot on glass while walking through their grass(he had sandles on) he put a bandaid on and when he fell asleep it fell off and he got little spots of blood on the sheet. The next morning my sister brought it right down and apologized for it. The guy was very rude and said this cant happen again or he will have to charge. 

We were there for 4 nights and we couldn't use the hot tub as it was always dirty. Plus they use chlorine. 

On Canada day, right after the fireworks he came over very rudely and told me there was to many people and I said everyone was here to watch the fireworks he proceeded to try and tell me the fireworks didnt go off that they were cancelled. I said no. They litterly just went off. he then said ohh.. well. everyone had to leave by 11. This was at 9:50pm I said yup everyone is getting ready to leave as we are aware of the policy and kiddies need sleep. He said yah huh and walked away rudely...

On check out day....

He arrived again being very rude. Telling us we had to leave now. We were packing up the cars as he was saying this and I told him we were obviously leaving. He said good. Dont come back..

Horrible

The chalets were comfortable and clean. Basic kitchen amenities, continental breakfast included.  While the pool and hot tub were closed during our visit they looked nice and enjoyable for families.  Convenient location to all destinations on the island.  Chairs not the most comfortable.
Laundromat available for use.  Can buy washing powder there but was told we could buy it cheaper at store so felt owners being honest with us

Comfortable and clean

The new owners, a Chinese business group, are disgusting people. Ling Pang the new manager for these cottages is also a horrible person! I booked 2 months in advance and when I arrived  to the stale and old accommodation I was told that I would HAVE to pay almost twice the amount I had booked for!!! Unethical business practices are now the new norm at this place. I left. Ling you were rude and extremely unreasonable. This place will never survive doing business on PEI if this keeps up.

Unethical and conniving - Horrible experience

My parents in law from Quebec City, aged 91 and 86, have been staying at this property for nearly a month every August for more than 30 years.  As usual, they reserved nearly in February for this summer at a fixed rate.  They showed up there today, and the new owners said they would not respect the agreed on price made in February, and told them the price was more than double.  My parents in law refused (good on them!) and are now looking around for alternative lodgings on PEI in the heart of tourism season.  Shame on you the new owners!  If this is how you do business, I hope your business fails!
