Walk in to reception, bright and clean.  Smell very clean and pleasant.  Reception clerk very friendly.

Stayed overnight, laminate floor, new bed sheets and covers, bathroom spotless.
No musty smell.  Fresh paint.  Clean un damaged furniture.

Really an excellent place if you want just an overnight place to sleep.
Restaurant next door but note its closed on Sunday evening.  No matter, many restaurants 5 minutes drive away.

Free wifi and it works very well too.
Park your car in front of your room and access your room from outside or interior hallway.

Well located near highway, easy access.

Its no Waldorf but I'm impressed on how clean it is.

Very clean

The staff in this place was awesome. They treated me as if I was their friends, but not in a too familiar way. The room was very nice, and quite large for the price. My only complain is (and it's not the motel's fault, to be honest): Both the train station and the bus station are quite far by foot (around 25 minutes walking) I only had a backpack, so I managed, but for people with larger bags, a taxi ride is almost mandatory to get tho this motel.

Pretty Nice for a short trip!

This is a very clean motel. It is a pretty classic hotel with parking outside your door. The rooms are large, which is nice. It's actually quite large, so the trek from the front desk to your room can seem quite far through halls that reminded me of a high school's, and I had to make the trek several times in order to get ice and water for our water bottles. (We're cyclists.) Still, for a two night stay, the location was good and the price was low.

We booked this Motel by price and convenient location for our plans in Jonquiere. We were nicely surprised by the comfortable room and the obvious cleanliness! Staff was very helpful and patient with our French. Convenient to have an attached restaurant so breakfast was close by and a decent price. Wi-fi was good. Nice place to stay.

Affordable and comfy

A quick overnight visit after arriving on the train in the evening and departing the next morning on the return train.  As one should expect in this area, the English proficiency of the front desk staff is limited, so brush up on your high school French or otherwise learn to be a little conversant.  Google translate helps a bit.

The rooms have both interior hallway doors and exterior doors to the parking lot.  Only the doors to the lot have a secondary bolt lock - the interior doors only have the push-button lock on the door knob - not even a secuirty chain.  That said, neither the place or other guests look "seedy" so although we were concerned, we did not fear for our safety.

Spartan is a good description, although shampoo was provided along with the soap, there were many channels available (both English and French speaking) on the large TV in the room and the beds were surprisingly firm and very comfortable.

We had a good breakfast in the attached restaurant.  Turnaround from ordering to delivery was very quick and the food was plentiful.  Menus, copies of which are in the rooms, are all in French and the waitress' English skills were very limited.  Once again, and NOT making any complaints, this should be expected in the French Province away from a big city.   

The front desk clerk was able to call a taxi to take us back to the train station as it was just a bit too far for us to walk.

Good for a quick overnight in a clean place at a very reasonable price, but would recommend looking elsewhere for a longer stay.

Giving this a Very Good rating for what it is - a clean, no frills, inexpensive hotel.
