Stayed at Chalets du Bout du Monde for 5 nights in Mid-September 2022. We had the Tamarak Chalet.  My husband and I had an amazing stay. The chalet was fully equipped, extremely clean and comfortable. The view of the bay and Haldimand Beach was spectacular. Firepit in front of the chalet makes for a nice evening. Small but decent propane bbq which works well. Great kitchen. Washer/Dryer all worked well. 35 minutes from Parc Forillon, which I would also highly recommend. Only downside is that the bathroom is on the main floor and the bedrooms are on the second floor with a bit of a steep and turning stairwell. Not good for mobility reduced people. Otherwise it's perfect.

Perfect getaway!

Very nice place: clean, quiet, with an excellent view. The property consists of 8 or so individual cabins within walking distance of one another. You can certainly see one or perhaps two neighboring cabins but that it not a problem. Effectively you get a cabin with a small yard, fire pit, access to the beach, and a hammock (not all cabins). The cabin itself is beautiful and cozy. It is perfect for a family of 3-5 people. There were minor things like no coffee filters (although there was an espresso machine, and drip coffee machine), no frying pans but plenty of pots. I had hard time reaching out to the owner via Travelocity site, which I used for booking, but he responded right away when I contacted him via Airbnb. I never saw or spoke in person with Bobby but that was not really necessary. In short, I enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider renting there again if I ever in the area.

Great Place

Perfect location and chalet for our family of 4.  Many activities to do: a run to Haldimand beach and back, a day trip to Percé for zip lining and climb to the glass platform at the Géoparc, a ferry ride to Île Bonaventure (got to see Rocher Percé), a hike up Mont Saint Alban in Parc Forillon, a bike ride to the town of Gaspé, and a trip to the Emerald River are just some of the things we did. 

Highly recommend! Won’t be disappointed.

Summer 2021  in Gaspé!

Place is located nearby a wonderful beach from Quebec, Haldimand! And you have mountains all around! The chalet is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Kids have a natural playground just in front from the chalet. Morning sunrise it’s lovely and peaceful. I strongly recommend it! 

Wonderful and peaceful

Our cabin was wonderfully cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable . The view was absolutely incredible and I got up each morning to see the sunrise over the estuary. From our cabin, we could see all sorts of waterfowl and we had a pair of Grey Jays that came to visit us on our porch each morning. They really made the trip! The fire pit was a nice extra and we appreciated being able to purchase firewood onsite. The cabin was also perfectly situated relative to Forillon National Park, Gaspé, and Percé. We would definitely come back for our next trip to Gaspésie!

Great stay in a remarkable setting.

Perfect place to relax, do kayaking and visit the whole Gaspé area! Confortable beds  and with all the equipment for cooking. There is even a barbecue. We will certainly come back. We recommand The Chalets du bout du monde to families  and friends!

Quiet and beautiful place

Super location for accessing Perce Rock and the Forillon National Park. We stayed in Chalet #2 for 3 nights. Had a marvellous view of the estuary with all the visiting waterfowl. Sunrises and moon rises spectacular over the estuary. Very private, quiet and relaxing. Well equipped chalet and very comfortable beds. Even managed the stairs to bathroom downstairs in the middle of the night!  So sorry that we had to trim a night off our visit and didn’t get to take the kayaks out in the estuary.  If we visit the Gaspe again we will definitely be booking the Chalets du Bout du Monde again.

Great spot for relaxing and watching the waterfowl!

As we approached our Chalet, our enjoyment of the stunning Gaspé scenery was moderated by some concern about Hurricane Dorian arriving from the Caribbean. We arrived to find a very comfortable and well-appointed chalet with full kitchen, comfortable social space and comfortable bedrooms. The chalet proved to be solid and water tight through the sometimes severe wind and rain that night. The balance of our stay was enjoyable, as we watched the herons wading and feeding from our window to the hiking and seafood available in the surrounding area. Our only regret was to not have scheduled more nights at the End of the World / Bout du Monde.

Cozy refuge in a storm

We stayed at the L'Eki Chalet which was fully equipped with all the amenities. The chalet is very well kept and clean. What I enjoyed most was the peace, tranquility and privacy of the setting. The early mornings and evenings were particularly beautiful. Sitting in front of the fire pit under the starry skies was something to behold. We never got to meet the owner but that's fine, I appreciated the honor system of the setting; leave the place as you found it. In short, our week stay in Gaspesie was amazing. I highly recommend the region and the chalet we stayed in. Will definitely return!

Super week of vacation

Two retired couples staying for 4 nights in cabin #1. I chose the Chalet based on its location for access to Forillion National Park and Perce . 

The location turned out to be excellent, waterfront on a tidal estuary alive with Herons, kingfishers, ducks and gulls. Beautiful views, outdoor fire pit, BBQ . The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, dishes. Lots of towels, comfortable beds, washer & dryer. The dining area was great, TV space a little tight for 4. Wifi was excellent. It was not far to the nearest grocery store for supplies. 

Our biggest complaint ; the noisy stairs and noisy water pump. Impossible to use the bathroom at night without disturbing the other guests!  We tried to stealthy ascending and descending the stairs and we banned flushing at night! 

We never did meet the owner/manager in spite of being told “ they would be by” ! Keys were left on the table in the unit on our arrival and departure.
