Marina greeted us at reception and was very warm and friendly. Our room was on the second floor and looked onto the water. Room was large, clean and comfortable.
My favourite part was the view from the deck where we enjoyed a stunning sunset. Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous view

Stayed two nights at this absolutely charming inn. Waterfront with great views - particularly nice sunsets. Spacious, clean room with a beautiful balcony for morning coffees. Easy walking distance to a fantastic bakery and a couple of really good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location!

Very beautifully decorated. There was a terrific balcony view of the St Lawrence. We loved this place and we were sorry to leave.  The proprietor was friendly and helpful even though we don’t speak french

Wonderful stay

We stayed here one night at the end of September. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy sitting on the wonderful deck overlooking the sea. Beautiful! Our room was very comfortable with a well equipped bathroom with walk in shower. The continental breakfast was very welcome and  perfectly adequate. The owners were very kind and helpful, making dinner reservations for us and helping when I left a backpack in the taxi. This was all managed with our basic French! Thank you very much.

Wonderful Deck!

We booked here on our recent motorcycle trip around the Gaspé and were welcomed back like old friends.  The lady has a special place to park motorcycles that is secure and easy to get in and out of.  We were able to get upstairs rooms on the terrace overlooking the River, and these are definitely the best in the house.  Views are spectacular, and the room amenities are second to none.  All of the facilities in this place are lovely and very well-kept.   Breakfast the next morning was welcome and got us off to a good start.  Highly recommended.

Another (even better) stay!

Stayed here for two nights in August.  We chose this location because it was within 40 minutes from the Gaspésie Park hiking trails.  Most of the rooms of this inn are seaside.  We booked one of the last rooms so we knew that ours would be street view. 

Our room was very large. As others have mentioned, the decor is absolutely charming.  Not your typical hotel room!  Our room was immaculate.  Initially we worried that we would have sleepless nightS due to the noise of cars passing within 4’ from our room, but to our surprise this wasn’t the case.  Once the windows were closed, our room proved to be quite soundproof.  There is no A/C but there was a little fan in the room.

We loved sitting on the Adirondak chairs, reading our books, listening to the seagulls and watching the sunset.  We also enjoyed eating our breakfast at the picnic tables facing the beautiful scenery.  The only reason that we did not give this place five stars is because the air circulation in our room wasn’t great (perhaps a ceiling fan would help).  We will definitely be back but will make sure to book months ahead of time so that we get a room with a view!

Charming

Large room decorated in modern Quebec-chic. 2 beds, 2 comfy wingback chairs, sublime river view, patio doors directly out to riverside (with 2 Adirondack chairs). Riverwalk park next door. Very friendly service. Large bathroom with over-size sit-inshower stall. What's not to like?

Excellent

This auberge is the nicest-looking one in the area based on exteriors, and is right on the waterfront. The facilities and our room were very clean, and the employees we dealt with were very friendly. We stayed in room 8, which has a private bathroom that is across the hallway. It was tidy and we had no issues but my travelling companion was put off by this separation. Breakfast is not included but the proprietress generously offered toast, coffee, and juice in the morning. The bathrobes were a nice touch too. I would agree with other reviewers that the road noises are loud on the ground floor- I'd ask for an upper level room if I stayed again.

A good bet on your way through

My wife and I stayed one night on August 3rd. Our hosts were very friendly and the room was very clean, updated and tastefully decorated. There were a couple of things however that should be noted. Our room was on the main street and could be noisy when the window was open. There is no breakfast per se. What is provided is toast, jelly, coffee and some juices. The parking spots are a bit limited and can be tight. When we checked in, we were informed that the water supply was not drinkable, but were not provided with any bottled water as a replacement. We had to go to the local grocery store and purchase bottled water for drinking.
