Despite the poor ranking, I must say that this experience was awesome. From the minute we checked in to the time we left, I have only positive things to say. Yes it's being renovated - don't be fooled by the glum exterior, our room was tastefully appointed, exceptionally clean and with all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. It was a bonus to get a full sized tub. Check in was a breeze, staff were eager to please  and took care of our requests.  We had a great bagged breakfast as well as coffee service in the room and in the lobby, too.
This location is close to popular landmarks like Ermatinger-Clergue National Historic Site and GFL Memorial Gardens as well as art galleries. Also, there's plenty of places to eat, drink and be merry close by.

Ongoing renovations don't deter from an excellent stay

We were very happy with the price and the overall booking experience. Our room was very clean and inviting. The bed was just unbelievably comfortable!!!
You can tell that they are renovating the inside first to make it a pleasing customer experience and it shows. The bagged "breaky' was wonderful and well thought out. The front counter staff were friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend this Hotel...

Wonderful Experience

I arrived to what appeared to be an older property, expecting ot to be dated. The room i had was completely redone with beautiful fixtures and comfortable beds. I hope they do well as the location is easy to find and close to lots of amenities.

Revamp in progress.

Good place for an affordable and clean/quiet stay. We were looking for a place to rest over night. This place fit the bill. Good value for the money. Friendly and help full staff. Good location also. Close to amenities.

Clean and friendly service.

This place has been recently renovated inside and you can tell. The beds were super comfy, pillow top new mattresses and fresh linens. Mini fridge, coffee maker with supplies, tv, an ice machine down the hall and clean towels. The outside still needs some tlc but don't let that sway your decision..its very clean and comfy inside. There was no restaurant available yet but they supplied us with breakfast to go consisting of a croissant, muffin, granola bar, juice box and a yogurt.  Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Disregard any reviews older than a couple of months. A great night's sleep.

Comfy, clean rooms!

The outside of the building is a bit run down so we were skeptical how our stay would be, however we were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms and corridors look to be recently renovated, clean and roomy. The staff was beyond friendly, very accommodating and really appreciated having 24hr coffee available in the lobby. 

Surprisingly Nice!

We booked this motel for a nights sleep before continuing on our road trip. Yes the exterior is out dated and so is the lobby but the front desk staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful.   We stayed in room 214 with 2 queen beds.  I have to admit I was nervous after reading all the reviews but was pleasantly surprised.   Room was modern and clean. ZERO issues.  We had a different hotel booked for our return visit.  I canceled it and rebooked this hotel.  We stayed in room 212 and again, no issues at all.  Keep in mind, you are booking a hotel at a very inexpensive rate.  You aren't staying at a 5 star hotel, your expectations should match your booking. 

Perfect spot for a rest while travelling.

Well the people that work at the front desk is nice enough. They gave me a room on the bottom floor so it was close to our open trailer that we had parked so we can keep an eye on stuff. But the room was dirty. I was happy when I walked in and seen there was no rugs on the floor I thought thank God. But the floors had not been cleaned at all I had to use a towel and try to walk with the towel across the floor three times just to try to clean the floors cuz every time we tried to get in and out of bed it was dirt on the bottom of our feet. Rooms are supposed to be cleaned when people leave. Not just rent it out to the next person without cleaning the floors to the point where was that much dirt it was horrible I threw it all in the bathtub. And showed the manager the picture I took the next day which does not even do it justice.

Dirty needs better people for cleaning

beds were very soft wash rooms were small hard to get wheel chair around in all areas in need of medical rooms would be nice with medical wash room and shower areas delivery would of been better with free breakfast 
be nice if they make bottom floor medical rooms for easy enter or exit and lower cost for customers that require medical at local hospitalor or visits

costly but nice and quiet be nice to get electric entrance doors for wheel chair entering or leaving

There was no breakfast . Says on website free breakfast, nothing there. Building decent on inside but real rundown looking on outside. Never comforting to see gang graffiti on a motel you're about to check into.
