We spent a couple of days at one of their chalets. In the contract, it said that the wood for fire camps was included. There was also no indication about the restrictions about the limit of the wifi connection.

At the end of the first day we had no more access to the wifi network. We tried resetting the router, but nothing worked.

The next day when we were chilling next to the fire the owner arrived(we called him about the internet issues). We told him that we had no more access to the wifi network and his answer was: "No and there won't be any access anymore the limit was 3GBs an you have surpassed the limit. Also the wood included was not to make more than one fire per night." 

We, indeed the first day, made 3 fires, however the contract didn't say anything about this limitation. Moreover, the attitude of the owner was very rude. He didn't tried explaining us things like we were guests or customers. He told us things like we were kids that were in trouble for doing forbidden stuff(We were a family of 6 adults). 

The contract never said anything about the Internet cap and the amount of wood logs we had access to. 

Next time, owner:
1. If there is any cap on the internet put it on the contract. 

2. If you are worried about the internet consumption then just don't give access at all to internet.  A few Netflix shows and the internet is gone.

3. If there is a limit on the amount of fire we can make using your wood logs, put it in the contract.

4. If you are worried about the wood log consumption, then put in the contract that the wood is not included.



Bad attitude from the owner

Stayed for four days in a chalet on Lac Chretien. The beautiful view from our deck across the lake to the wooded hills beyond set the tone for a very relaxing stay. The chalet itself was clean, spacious and comfortable, set in a pretty garden sloping down to the lake, very private and surrounded by trees. We had our own little jetty, and the lake is great for swimming or boating (we rented canoes from the owner). The couple who run Domaine St Flore were very welcoming and made helpful suggestions of places to see and to eat (would especially recommend Cafe Bucolique in the village).
Overall a very quiet, isolated and relaxing place to stay as a family.
(There is wifi in the chalets, though it could be a little temperamental...)

Peaceful, idyllic lakeside family stay

With wife, 2 daughters, their sons and our son-in-law spent 3 nights at one of their cottages by the lake (Lac Chretien). Quiet, relaxing and enjoyable. This cottage was fully equipped. TV and dvd for boys, fully equipped kitchen, hair dryer, coffee maker, it was all there. Hosts are super kind and helpful. Well worth the stay. We plan on returning next summer (maybe even a couple of nights this winter). Close to Canada Park, museums, zoo, etc.(Below, when yo read hotel, it is not a hotel, it is a resort with fully-equipped year-round cottages.)

Family get-away

Need to relaxe in a beautiful setting ? You will find what you need at Domaine Ste-Flore. Warm greetings from the owners and great service. To get their, you just have to Google map the adresse and it wont be hard to find. The village of Ste-Flore has gastronomique restaurants and the beautiful Parc de la Mauricie is not far away. Great place for outdoor activities or for doing nothing and just enjoying the beautiful lake. This place is situated in the forest by a lake but has all the ameneties of city life (satellite tv (the smallest chalet does not have satellite tv but the others do), dvd, internet and you can even order a pizza. Wow ! Now that we have seen how beautiful this place is in the fall, we will be back for a full week nex year to witness summer time by the lake !

Relaxing and calm lake with all the ameneties of city life but in the forest !

Quiet location when no construction going on. Very clean and all (US) confort. Assistance could be better. Regional map knowledge was marginal. Though friendly at desk. We found the place only because an  old couple in Shawinigan helped us to find the hidden entrance in the forest. It took a 30 min drive after we got lost and followed the helpful couple in the car.
