A lovely room in a beautiful setting, and Gabriele was a wonderful host! She made us a fantastic breakfast (accommodating our dietary requirements), shared helpful tips about the area and was always available when we had questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful stay at Shawnigan Lake BnB

We only stayed here one night but we were really impressed with it. It is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hosts, Gabriele and her husband, are very kind and thoughtful. They gave us towels to take to the beach, told us the best beaches to go to (there are 2 just a 4 minute walk away), and helped us sort out a restaurant within easy walking distance. They also explained the prettiest walking route so we could avoid the highway. Nothing was too much trouble. The next morning Gabriele made us the most delicious and beautifully cooked vegan breakfast which we ate outside on our own private balcony

Very thoughtful and helpful hosts

I had a very calm  and tranquille night at Shawnigan Lake B&B. I sat on the  balcony and watched deer and a raccoon family walk by.  The room is well appointed in pine and gentle tones as it has recently been decorated. It is very very quiet. Gabrielle greeted me with the offer of a fresh pear which was perfect after a hot day.  Breakfast was a yummy, and huge, wrap which I ate on the balcony.  I recommend it highly!

Shawnigan Paradise

Gabriele is a most friendly and welcoming host. Our room with en-suite bathroom was decorated in a warm and personal style, with a comfortable four poster bed in the middle. She was very modest about her cooking qualities, but her breakfasts proved to be varied, healthy and delicious! Moreover she was fun talking to and so was her boyfriend. At dawn we saw the cutest bambies in the garden and raccoons at sunset. It all contributed to the wonderful days we spend at Shawnigan Lake B&B!

Warm welcome in beautiful ambiance

A very comfortable and friendly place to stay. Wonderfully decorated rooms with more than the average amenities.
The inn keeper is a wealth of knowledge and can tell you how to make the most of your time. It is very conveniently located with dinning,shopping, outdoor activities at your fingertips. We were spoiled with a wonderful breakfast each day.
Gabriele makes the inn sparkle.

Convenient and Friendly

Beautiful tranquil surroundings, with delicious breakfast included. The 2 owners are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are beautiful and feel/look brand new, very clean and neat. Cable TV as well as Netflix was available for us to watch. I would highly recommend staying in "The Loft" for a lovely couples retreat.

Amazing Getaway

I booked this visit last minute on a holiday weekend and Gabrielle was a fabulous hostess. I stayed in a lovely cabin behind the B&B, and it was a fabulous getaway. And i was treated with a GOURMET breakfast each morning -- made to my specific preferences. It was a bit out-of-town, but so very worth the extra drive -- both to save money and to have a unique experience, and a lovely drive to get there also. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
