After having a change in plans we booked three nights very last minute. Mike could thankfully accommodate us.
Upon arrival Mike cheerfully provided us with the lay of the land - shared kitchen available, our own mini fridge for anything we needed chilled, the all important cupboard with the wine glasses of course. He showed us to our room which was clean and spacious, with an adjoining private bath.
Mike provided a healthy sized breakfast each morning at our time of choosing - a definite perk from other BnBs of set breakfast time. Each day was different, and each day was delicious with excellent presentation as an added bonus!
We came and went as needed for our weekend activities with no concerns. The location is med-way between Vernon and Silverstar, about ten minutes from each, so be aware of this. Though the benefit of this was the exceptionally quiet nights we had, able to open the window and allow in the fresh air as we slept.
Both Mike and Edie were lovely to chat with and knowledgable about the area.
When we return again we will absolutely stay at Silverstar BnB no question!

Had a wonderful cup of tea!!!!  Great place to lay your head.  Quiet and peaceful.  Rooms were comfy. Mike put on a wonderful breakfast for us to devour.  The hot tub would have been the icing on the cake......but you know...Covid.

Mike is an awesome host!!

Even though we only spent one night, we had a lovely stay at Silver Star B&B. The rooms were super clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious (extraordinary!). Received great hiking advice and recommendations. Thank you very much.

I stay here regularly, The rooms arent fancy, but they are comfortable, the grounds and the location is peaceful and secluded. Mike makes a great breakfast, He’s good company and very hospitable. I recommend silver star B&B very highly!

Great place to stay while at Silver Star in Vernon

We nailed it by staying at Mike's BnB, located conveniently between Vernon and Silver Star/Sovereign Lake. Mike is an entertaining and charming host who spoiled us for 7 days with his amazing stories and breakfast creations, which we happily devoured. He also has a wealth of knowledge about the area and offers great tips on where to go and what to see.  The large kitchen had all the conveniences that we needed.  The bedroom was a perfect size for the two of us.  It was clean and warm. There was a chest of drawers and hanging rack for our belongings. The bed was comfortable and provided good support.  The shower had good pressure, very hot water and a high shower head to accommodate a 6'5" person.  The hot tub was always available and hot.  And best of all, Mike's place is located in a beautiful area 10 minutes by car down the hill from the ski trails and 10 minutes up the hill from Vernon, where we happened to eat some really tasty Asian meals.  Mike's place also offers great views over the Okanagan valley.  We miss it already and can't wait to go back.  Highly recommended!

The Perfect Trifecta - Sleep, Eat, Ski and Repeat

This was the best stay at any establishment that we have ever stayed at.  
The owner Mike was a perfect host and very knowledgeable on places to visit.  Its very clean, comfortable and the grounds are beautiful.  
His breakfasts are outstanding and great coffee !!!

Silver Star Bed and Breakfast , Vernon , B.C.

Mike was super friendly, made us a great breakfast and let us know a few gorgeous places to see between Vernon and Vancouver that ended up being highlights of our Canadian road trip! I can happily say our first B&B experience was amazing! Only minor bummer was that we missed out on seeing black bears in the backyard!

Beautiful out-of-town location with an amazing host!

Great stay. Clean. Comfy bed.  We had family staying at ski hill so it was nice and close.  It was very cold when we were there so we appreciated the nice quiet heater in our room. We’d gladly stay again.
