Find another motel to stay at. With the changing prices from one day to the next. Hidden fees and extremely rude male staff the stay there was terrible. Don't bother mentioning it to them because the male owner is resigned to using aggression and intimidation if you dare ask to have something changed. 

At first we entered the room. Noticed hair in the bathroom and clumps of hair in the fridge, dried vomit on the bottom of the bed, random hairs between the sheets. Exposed outlets, bed side light not working stained pillow shams and stained quarter round with what appears to be blood or once again vomit.

Even after agreeing to pay a one time $50 fee for dogs. We were given a disgusting room. Tried using the towels provided in the bathroom only to find a full face of makeup on the folded up and put away towel. I cannot even begin to tell you about the sleeze factor of this place and the fact that we had to clean the room of other people's body fluids and hair/skin cells.

Upon advising one of the staff of the state of the room. We were told we could switch rooms. Then after informing the rest of the guests in the party to pack up to move rooms, someone then decided that we were not allowed to switch rooms. Keep in mind all rooms were vacant expect for two rooms. The owner then decided that we came to late to switch rooms. So we asked for clean sheets. Female employee then came by and said because we have dogs in the room, there is no cleaning. So hold up? We have to pay extra to sleep in a dirty, contaminated room with legitimate dried vomit on the side of the bed sheets? 

She then advised us that we would be given a full refund. With that news, and the time of the evening 8:00pm we resigned to sleeping in this room.

Next morning, went to get our refund only to be screamed and swore at by the owner. "You stayed here a night, there is no way you're getting a refund" we ask for the employee who advised that we would get the refund. Only to have him scream over her to advise us we are not getting the refund. 

Problem is we already paid. As we stand there going back and forth the owner becomes increasingly mad and starts to raise his voice, swearing and becoming agitated. 

Finally after originally paying $325 for 2 nights, even after advertising has the rooms at $99 and then in the website for $116. The owner refunds us back $120. So that's $200 for the night including the fee for the dogs?

So $200 a night to stay in a dirty, used room with non working lights and dried vomit and people's hair in the bed sheets. Making sure I get that right.  

So sorry we asked for clean sheets and disturbed you. Male owner took offensive immediately as were were insulting him thus resulting in him berating and attempting to intimidate a group of females.

I get you're running a business but who puts the rudest, loudest misogynistic man as the concierge. WIARTON WILLYS INN DOES

Dirty rooms and hidden fees

Good Afternoon, I am about to do something I have yet to do in all of my 65 Years and that is to write a review. I have just stayed at the Wiarton Willie Motel this past Saturday September 2, 2023. Booked two rooms with two Queen size beds in each a week earlier as we were on a long distance motorcycle ride. Big Mistake! In a bind on a Labour day weekend so we took what we could get......at $300 per room a night. The usual rate was $90-$125 a night but I was told by the owner that as  its a long weekend prices go up. Ok $300 per night we'll live with it as we split the cost in two. Get up Sunday morning NO coffee machine. We walk to the "office" to find the door locked and cleaning supplies, vacuums etc. all packed in this little room.
                                                                       The owners no where to be found when he finally comes out proceeds to tell us No Coffee! Tim Hortons down the road. We didn't fire up our bikes as a couple of them are fairly loud and we didn't want to wake the sleeping residents. $300 a night and no coffee maker come on. Place is a dive wouldn't stay there again if it was $3 a night.

$300 A NGHT! GIVE ME A BREAK!

The owner of this Inn is so unprofessional.  I made a reservation on February 22 and phoned to confirm everything on June 2. At the conclusion he cancelled my reservastion because I have a guide dog becuase I tried to share the Ontario law concering guide dogs.  He is so nasty that the police will not even deal with him. He and his wife then called me back on June 5th yelling at me that I needed to cancell the reservation which he said that he had alredy done. When that was brought to his attention he then started cussing me out and hung up. 3 min later the wife calls back and tells me again that I need to cancel the reservation which I agqain said that her husband alread had. She then proceeded to yell at me 4 times for me not to come, which I replyied that I wasn't and wouldn't

Terrible owner

I have stayed at this location about 3 years ago when Raymond was the owner.  At that time, it was a very good location for a couple of nights.

Price quoted last year were about twice what I had paid previously.

However, there is now no answer then emails are sent, and every booking site shows contact the location.

I believe the motel is now closed but has not updated their website.

Shut Down

This place was a dive to be nice. My business called asking specifically if there was wifi in the rooms as i had an important confidential zoom call. Get there no wifi. They would not accommodate even after i explained the circumstances they would not allow me to change rooms. The rooms are not updated at all. There was wallpaper peeling from the wall that the shower plumbing was connected to. The shower taps leaked. There were no light bulbs in the lamps. It was Dirty!...fridge still had old food in it...garbage under the fridge...under the bed.

I pulled back the sheets to get into bed and the sheet was as wrinkled as a bums suit and with debris. No heat no available wifi although charged for. A bitter disappointment to represent the qualities of your surrounding Bruce County beauty.

If your aiming for raw disappointment this is your place dirt to spare.

So I go hotel right? and I want to pet a willy groundhog but then there was no willy so I walk in motel to ask owner and then he put me in a closet and i pet his willy. I DID ENJOY. THW WILLY WAS SQUIRTING.

smell like toliet has poop on bed plz come clean it. so basically i was have long day and my uncle right. he said you poop on my bed. so i go and poop on willys bed.hopefully you understand my poop might be green and smelly cuz i et so mach food yesterday my momi made losts of dumplinging and then i poop.run, but i cant run cu7z i have diabtes and i cant english good cyz my am chinese and india at da sam time.rumnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

HORRIBLE

During the summer of 2020 try getting accommodations anywhere on the Bruce Peninsula.  The last room in Wiarton was available here.  The rate was ok and the owners were friendly enough.  My room was on the side of the long driveway.  It was a fairly good size and had WIFI and TV.  My bathroom was quite old and in dire need of renovations.  I was sure things would fall apart in there as they were patched together.  However, everything worked and I enjoyed the hot shower.  This is a great location and the grounds are very nice with a pool etc.  It is run down and in need to renovations.  The roof is very bad, there was a gap under the door of my room and the night it rained...I had a swamp in front on my door.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!! We had to cancel our entire trip because the owner canceled our reservation of 4 rooms a week before we were supposed to be there so he could charge more $$. There was nowhere else to stay as everything was fully booked. Hotels.com tried to rectify with hotel and owner was uncooperative. Owner then called me and told me he would book us directly if I called hotels.com and told them we were all good. Owner wanted an email from hotels.com so he didn’t get charged for his efforts to gain financially on doubling his prices. I told hotels.com he did this as he lied to them and said he did not have rooms available when he had ALL 4 rooms still! He just wanted 200$ a night for them now! Rude and unprofessionalism at its finest!! I would never deal with this hotel!!
