Nice stay,! Front desk pro! Hawt Water! Decent stay in Stettler Alberta! Breakfast ok!

This property was excellent for my needs: if come over Christmas to see my sister and travelled with all three of my big (70+ pounds) dogs. The location was excellent and our room was located on the man floor along the side.  Easy to walk the dogs, let them go to the bathroom, and transfer them in and out of the room.

We had a room on the south side.
I got my reservation dates wrong but staff were great about clearing it up.
The room was dated but very clean and comfortable. We've stayed in many motels that had far less quality for a lot more money!
We, as a couple would recommend this motel for it's economy and cleanliness based on our experience.

Sink and tub weren’t super clean. I don’t like dark carpet because you can’t tell if it’s clean. Same for the bedspread.

Reasonable price. Happy with the accommodation.

For a motel on the highway it was a quiet stay in a clean room with comfortable beds, that apprears to have had a few recent upgrades. The continental breakfast was pretty basic, but some variety was available.

Would stay this location again if ever in area again

A restful night at a fair price!

Our family of four stayed here for a single night as part of a lengthy road trip. Arrived a bit late and check in was quick and efficient. Nice quiet room on the back side of the motel. We had a small kitchenette, which was handy for breakfast, and the room was reasonably spacious. It's an older motel and not extravagant, but it delivered exactly what we expected when we booked and provided good value for the cost. We would stay here again.

After we left the hotel and had driven more than an hour, we realized that our son had left his stuffed animal in the room. I called the hotel and talked to the owner, Taewon, who confirmed they had found the stuffie. Taewon was very accommodating, exchanging several emails and phone calls, to help us arrange for Purolator to pick up the stuffie the following day and make sure he arrived home safely. This made for a very happy 7-year-old when we arrived home. Thank you, Taewon!

Good value and excellent service

I spent a Friday and Saturday night in Stettler so I could watch my grandson play in a hockey tournament. The tournament meant that accommodations were in high demand. Choices were limited by the time I was booking. I chose the Plains Motor Inn. I was very happy with my stay. The room was large, clean and quiet. The owners were very hospitable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this motel and would stay again.

Pleasantly surprised.

We ended up somewhat stranded due to unexpected winter storm road closures. Phoned a few places and only the Plains Motor Inn were accommodating. We needed a place that would accept our large dog. The lady that answered the phone was great in meeting our needs. 

The room was old with lots of creaks and groans but very clean. It met our needs perfectly for an emergency overnight stop.

Very Clean Room

We came to the motel pretty late but the front desk was friendly. Room qas better than expected. Everything was clean and beds were comfy. The rate fits the room. The walls being thin is the only real issue. Would stay again.

Clean and comfy

For the price point I give this motel top rating. Check in was efficient and the front desk clerk was friendly. The room was extremely clean, good amount of space and very comfortable bed. I would happily return and highly recommend it.

Excellent value

Clean affordable and great location. Could easily have spent two nights here.  Very comfy bed too.  Rooms at the back are very quiet.  Amenities are a bit minimal.  Kitchette items are great for making delivery food nice!

Value for money - no question!

Let's be real its not worth staying here. No housekeeping staff, walls are paper thin, rude staff, very dated and the bed is not comfortable. Overpriced for what you get. Spend your money elsewhere. You'll thank me.
