Stratford

To stay at Legacy House for my  first visit in Stratford  was  ideal. It is well located, easy to explore the town by foot. The host is full of knowledge and suggestions. The  house is   beautiful and confortable  , with  the charm of the past and the confort of today.  Breakfast are delicious and accommodate all diets. There is an attention to details.  I would recommend  this B&B to any one who come to Stratford .

A perfect place to start the  exploration of Stratford

I cannot recommend this lovely place highly enough. Our hostess Rejeanne was was welcoming and so helpful. Our suite was spotless and she’d anticipated our every need. In addition, she provided a delicious home cooked breakfast every morning. You won’t want to leave.

A warm, inviting retreat in Stratford.

Wonderful stay at Legacy House. Very well kept Victorian house with great decor and extremely welcoming. Our room was very comfortable, immaculate and quite comfortable. Bathroom good size and very clean. Rooms are bright and comfortable. The host is extremely welcoming and full of local information and suggestions. Her breakfasts are outstanding, lovingly prepared with local ingredients. A real treat to stay there for a visit to Stratford to see plays, etc. Walking distance to downtown and the theaters on a very quiet street. 

Wonderful B&B

We spent three nights at Legacy House and had a wonderful stay.  Rejeanne’s B&B is immaculate and comfortable.  The location is close to town.   We had delicious breakfasts and enjoyed  Rejeanne’s hospitality and the company of the other guests.  We plan to make another trip to Stratford and will definitely stay at Legacy House.  Legacy House is one of the nicest places where we have stayed.  

Absolutely Perfect

This splendid B & B is located in an historic, and beautiful, 150 year-old building on a quiet street.  It's also within walking distance to the Stratford theaters, restaurants and shops.  The rooms are large and tastefully furnished; the living room is comfortable, and a TV  may be found there (as well as fresh home-made cookies).

Each breakfast is a well thought-out meal, very often with locally produced ingredients, and unfailingly delicious. A fridge with water and soft drinks is available all day, as are coffee and tea.

The owner and host, Réjeanne, is a font of information and helpfulness.
I have never stayed in a B & B that I liked so much.

"WOW"

We enjoyed a wonderful stay with Rejeanne at Legacy House. Although she was fighting a cold she was most gracious and helpful. Her historic home is beautiful and within walking distance to downtown and the Avon Theatre. Our room was lovely and clean. Rejeanne served a delicious breakfast.

Charming B&B and wonderful host!

Rejeanne is probably one of the best b&b hosts we have met. She has a beautiful historic house, tastefully decorated. Her extensive knowledge of Stratford was very helpful. The rooms were lovely and immaculate. Breakfast is a definite highlight. It was always different and made with local ingredients. Rejeanne is an amazing cook and accommodates food intolerances really well. Oh yes and there are fresh cookies all day!

Come for the breakfast-stay for the company 

We visited Stratford during the annual Theater festival season and stayed at Legacy House. Rooms are airy, super clean, and every morning a gourmet breakfast waiting for us. What more can the busy theater goer wish for! We highly recommend Legacy House!

Wonderful b&b

We (two girlfriends and an adult son) came to Stratford after a busy day in the United States and enjoyed the six days at Rejeanne's. The breakfast was wonderful, the living room and bedrooms were very comfortable - we could play cards or other games in the stuck-up living room at night, read, watch TV and enjoy tea and cappuccino.
