1. No windows!!!
2. Highly scented detergents were used as well as Febreze products. Normally I can open a window and air out a room, but no windows meant no option to do so.
3. Solar lighting tube brought in a lot of light. We asked to have it covered due to near full moon and early summer sunrise. They did accommodate this but it was a pain for them as well. 
4. Frosted glass window in the door let in a lot of light at night due to a bright light just outside the unit.
5. No chair. Only seating were two barstools and the bed. 
6. No bathroom fan. Need I elaborate? 
7. Poorly insulated for sound. We could easily hear the upstairs guests walking around, and guest voices out in the hallway were easily heard. 

Not for the claustrophobic or scent sensitive.

Upon check in I went to use the washroom and lifted the toilet seat to see pubic hairs and other hairs covering it. We went right outside our door to tell the housecleaner who checked us in and the other housecleaner with her and the other housecleaner said "no there shouldn't be I just cleaned it" I told her to come have a look. She saw it and then said "oh well that's because I wasn't done cleaning this room". Obviously they forgot to clean. She cleaned the toilet and sprayed the washroom floors with some lysol spray that was super odorous and gross smelling and it stunk up the entire microsuite. Unfortunately there is no vent in the washroom so we had to prop the door to the microsuite open to try and ventilate. When we returned to the room in the evening the microsuite still stunk of the odorous lysol spray, so we had to prop the door open again to the hallway. The shower curtain was heavily stained and dirty. There was obvious pubic hairs all over the built in bedside. The bed was an extremely cheap quality and thin, hard but somehow lumpy mattress, We've never slept on a bed like this in a hotel/airbnb before, we were seriously considering buying an air mattress as we hardly got sleep at all tossing and turning feeling pressure point pain throughout the night. The sheets were super cheap quality, and the thin light brown blanket was an army surplus style blanket that also looked to have curly pubic hairs in a few spots. The railing at the foot of the bed was quite short and definitely not to code. It was sketchy trying to walk around the bed as you get less than a foot of space between the bed and railing and there's potential to topple over. 

There is no window in the microsuite...I am not sure how or if it passes fire regulations. There is a large square skylight directly above the bathroom that you wouldn't be able to access in the event of a fire.  

While we each had showers and used the washroom the morning of checkout we thought we were hearing footsteps on the roof above the bathroom around the large skylight. We were like nahh, it can't be, there's no way. Right after showers we went out to start loading up the car and we see there actually are men up on the roof! 

We were very angry and just wanted to get the heck out of there. We were too exhausted from terrible sleep and very angry about our stay and didn't have it in us to freak out to the housecleaners. My partner went to drop the keys off and told the housecleaner we heard footsteps on our roof and he was shocked to actually see that there are men on the roof, and she said "oh why?", he said "because of the skylights directly above the toilet and shower" she said "oh I didn't think of that" and that was it. We got the heck out of there. 

We really wanted this place to be great and "hip" like they advertise it. There's soooo much potential but it's terrible on so many levels. If they get professional help with every aspect of this place and totally fix all of the ongoing issues and actually manage it and staff it than it would be a nice place to stay. But it looks like it was cheaply done on all accounts and they ran out of money to make it a professional quality place. They need to make changes immediately. I do hope they turn this place around and fix everything and make an announcement of a grand reopening, it could be great.

But for now if you are into terrible sleep, hairs, dirty shower curtains and people watching you from above while you're taking your morning bowel movement this is the place to go.

Terrible mattress, pubic hairs, skylight in bathroom with a good chance of men on roof to watch you shower

The location is excellent in downtown Summerside. Stores, ocean and eating places within walking distance or a short drive. The lofts are nice and adequately equipped. Nice small place enough for 2 people if you are out and about the majority of the time. Check in and check out instructions should have been given in an email before checking in, especially after requesting a check-in time when booking. No response to emails. No one will answer the phone after business hours. There's no reception or staff at hand except during the day when the cleaning staff comes. Parking spots are few and very narrow if you have an SUV or larger vehicle. Could not park properly since we wouldn't have been able to get in or out of our car and the cars beside ours wouldn't have been able to open their doors to get in either. The upstairs got very hot and humid during the day and even more so after taking a shower since there's no fan in the washroom. When turning the AC on the downstairs became cold like a freezer.

Convenient location but be prepared for no frills

Fantastic location with walking distance to all amenities except for Walmart which is just down the road. 5 minutes to the boardwalk is an added bonus. Loved the concept of a micro-suite and found everything in the room and the hosts themselves very accommodating. We arrived as a family of 5 and were given an air mattress for our daughter and even offered a playpen for our son but we had brought our own. Everything was clean, well organized and well stocked in the kitchenette. Bed upstairs was comfortable but firm and found it a little interesting that it was two mattresses put together rather than an actual king sized mattress. We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely use these accommodations again! We loved having a separate floor between us and our kids! Not many hotels offer that and you can not beat the price for the location!

Perfect For A Small Family

We’ve stayed here a day, we all surprised at the size of room. It has big kitchen and modern bathroom. My parents love this place because they can cook and space is huge. They have oversize bathroom too. My room has kitchen on ground floor and bed was in mezzanine. Since space is huge and open, I felt hollow but over all it is practical and recommend to family who has kids.
