My friend and I loved this charming place and the proprietors. Sharon and MIke are complete gems. Warm, funny, hospitable, interesting. The place is immaculate and the breakfasts  are a feast not only for the stomach but for the eyes as well. Wonderful table decor and excellent  food. Try  it out, you wont regret it! 

Bountiful beauty

Friendly, helpful, entertaining hosts.  Rooms were very comfortable with many amenities. Good location. Quiet neighbourhood. Close enough to walk to the waterfront and boardwalk. The breakfasts were delicious, used local ingredients, lots of variety, cooked to perfection and preference.  Highly recommended.


Outstanding hospitality!

Great place to stay. I found the owners very nice and thoughtful and always ready to help and answer our questions. The breakfast were wonderful the 2 days of our stay. The food was good and well presented. Rooms were clean and beautiful. I totally recommend.

Charming place!

Sharon and Mike Farrell are the ultimate hosts!  Their B&B is lovely, cozy, spotless, and full of lots of "extras".  Our room was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable.  Breakfast was beyond fabulous every day.  Mike and Sharon have put their hearts and soul into running their B&B and it shows.  
While staying at their home, we felt like part of their family.  

We will stay here next time we return to PEI!

A perfect stay!

The location in Summerside, PEI was perfect as we could walk anywhere downtown in minutes! The room was adorable with a seaside theme and spotless.  The beds and pillows were so comfortable, better than what I have at home! Sharon's breakfast each day was a special treat with seasonal fruits and a different home cooked menu daily!  The table settings also had a different theme! Both Mike and Sharon made us feel like family. After this experience I would never stay anywhere else in Summerside.  Looking forward to going back and staying longer!

The best B&B I have stayed at!

We stayed at Sharon and Mikes for 4 days .We were treated like royalty .My wife and I stayed in the queen room .It was very comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfasts  were to die for .We hope to go back in the future.    Brian and Cathy ❤️❤️

Golf summer holiday with family

A super B&B!  Beautiful, clean & well maintained home.  We stayed for 6 nights in the King room and had a great time!  Sharon & Michael were there to great us and help us with our luggage.  They were helpful & friendly without being overbearing.  They felt like old friends.

There were delicious hallway deserts for us at night along with tea & coffee.  The daily breakfasts were superb with a different theme for the dining room linens daily.  Such fun!

You are indeed fortunate if you are able to get a room at the Island Home!

Beautiful B&B

We had a wonderful stay here with our super hosts Sharon and Mike.   The house
and rooms were lovely and food absolutely delicious.  Rooms were very well
appointed with a variety of useful items for travellers.  Nearby to rooms was
an area with coffee, tea, pop, water bottles and delicious homemade treats
along with tourist info.  Sharon and Mike were so friendly and helpful.
We just happened to be there during Hurricane Fiona and most business were
closed on Sept. 24th.  Sharon and Mike kindly delivered an appetizer tray to
our rooms then provided a very tasty evening meal for guests.  We simply
could not have found a better place to stay in PEI.  We would highly recommend
Island Home B and B, Summerside PEI as THE place to stay.

Best Place to Stay in PEI !!!

Sharon & Mike are the ultimate hosts! Their home is welcoming and beautiful. Breakfasts are fabulous with thoughtful detail to the table setting and enough food that you may not feel hungry again until dinner! Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, comfortable and super clean! There is even a refreshment station outside the bedrooms with coffee, tea, cold drinks and sweets (loved the fudge!).
The home is close enough to downtown that you can walk to many restaurants, yet it is also located on a quiet street. And, Summerside is a perfect starting point for travelling around the island.
There is no other place I would stay when visiting PEI!

Above and Beyond

This beautiful B&B "checks all the boxes" for an excellent experience primarily because of the utmost care and super effort shown by owners Sharon and Mike.  Our stay of several nights was delightful given the comfort/quality of our room and gracious surroundings of this lovingly cared for home.  Starting each day with Sharon's gourmet level breakfast complete with unique table settings was a culinary treat and extremely tasty.  Mike was quick to offer coffee and more of everything to ensure nobody left hungry or unsatisfied.  The wall map was often referred to as travel routes and destinations were discussed with friendly and helpful hints.  Whether strolling the Summerside waterfront or driving off exploring PEI, Island Home will provide the rest and sustenance to make a great, memorable part of your trip.  And then the evening treats offered.......delicious!!
