We visit sunshine valley resort 4-5 times per year, on average and have had
nothing but fantastic experiences every time. The staff are always friendly
and nice, the grounds and facilities are very clean and maintained. Several times throughout the year there are fun activities for adults and children to participate in!

Easter fun!

The cabins are wonderful, perfect for a little ski getaway! Staff are very pleasant and welcoming, and the facilities were wonderful too. Kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub! Very quiet this time of the year, but it does get busy in the spring/summer. Recommend it for a family weekend trip to explore beautiful Manning Park.

Cabins are perfect for a ski getaway!

This is an RV and Cabin Resort only 10 Cabibs. Cozy quaint spacious  cabins with a full kitchen,towels,wifi, smart tv, freezer,fridge,toaster,keurig, utensils, and pull out couch firewood and fireplace . Stayed in a one bedroom cabin. Little terrace to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Arrived on a Sunday in the afternoon so peaceful. Friendly and welcoming staff. Indoor pool and hot tub as well as outdoor. Fitness equipment. Convenience Store stocked with Eggs Milk Snacks Alcohol etc and some tasty beef jerky.  Fairly priced. And clean!! Peace and Quiet

Overall not a bad place to go. It was clean pools, hot tubs showers, washroom and grounds, however we made reservation in February and requested a site close to the cabins (we were having a family reunion) but we’re put in a site, quite a distance away. When questioned about this we’re  told that  we requested  this. Our Hostess for this event went to the, office and requested  if we could be moved to which they complied. Overall not a bad place to stay but definitely  overpriced $75.00 a night.

If you are not a dirt bike rider or Quad owner not much to do

Nice level pull-thru lots. You willl find 2 indoor hot tubs and 1 outdoor also had  1 indoor and 1 outdoor pool which were clean and maintained nightly.  Staff was helpfull and welcoming.  The prperty is 
lose to Hope and open year round whicb is kinda cool.  Would recommend.

Over priced n n camping spots are weedy n unkept, Road ashflault was spread everywhere, so hard to walk on, n smells of melting tar, the pool area was a gong show, , adults kids , running jumping , drinking in the hot tub, one guy eating a bag of nacho,s in the hot, then the kid used the bag to play in the water along with a beer, Can, did not seem like anyone was monitoring the pool at all, 

Run down sites, , loud music n parting from quaders,

The property sits in between mountains, its a decent, open, quiet. It is more a transit kind of place than a stay on and enjoy kind of place. We were with family and kids. Rooms were ok, clean, though the bathroom towels etc were not nice.  Get your own stuff for this place.

Empathy in customer service was a big issue. When one spoke with the front desk, it was like speaking to a robot. I would not recommend this place unless its a stop over for a night.

Nothing special.

Great resort. Love the indoor pool, hot tub for cooler days. There’s a lot to do in the area and explore. The wind is pretty intense mid day but the resort and amenities makes up for it.

All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the ice cream at the store on site too, we were there for 2 hot days and it was a treat. 


Great family resort

This is an incredible spot with nice cabins and a great pool/hot tub area.  Our biggest dissapointment both times we stayed was with their hours of operation.  I am shocked that we cant check-in until 3pm but your staff all goes home at 4pm.  I get why THEY want to go home, but this is not an ideal way to run a business.  Same goes for the store that's always closed when you need it.  Also, we requested a late check-out on at least 1 of the 2 cabins we rented and it was denied.  Stating they are busy and need the time.  Only 4 cabins were rented during the weekend and being a Monday, i just dont beleive you couldnt accomidate us.  A 10am check-out is just too early.  We're paying $500 for bascially 1 day.  Dont think we'll be back even though we love the area and grounds.  I think we'll just AirBNB next time

Amzing spot, not so much in service

We used the RV site with hookups.  They are mostly gravel with a few weeds replacing what had once been grass.  The sites are large, twice as wide as most campsites.  There is water, power and sewer.  The campground map is wrong, don't try the southeast restroom as it was torn down!  The wi-fi costs money and showers are $2 Canadian for a 6-minute shower.  Think about that when headed for the pool/hot tub--no free showers for pool visitors to wash up before or after a swim.  I complained to the office about my loud neighbors, noisy past 11:30 p.m.--they were even noisier and later the next night--the silver-haired lady at the front counter (the owner?) told me that there was "no loud music" and it's "Labour Day Weekend" so they allowed the neighbors to be noisy half the night.  The location is 15 minutes into the mountains east of the city, Hope.  In summation:  good RV sites, bad fees and no regards for 10 p.m. quiet time.  Also, avoid the nearby Highway 5 unless you're okay with being stuck on it for a very long time--few turnarounds or exits!
