I booked our stay for one night very last minute on our way back from a longer driving vacation. We arrived late and were given excellent instructions on how to access the property and our room. The room was on the smaller side, but we were only 2 and the bed was very comfortable and very clean. I wish we arrived earlier to enjoy more of the amenities at the Auberge. It's a beautiful location between the town of Sutton and the ski hill. The bar and restaurant were closed due to the pandemic but the entire area is very well set up and perfect for a nice social experience. We had a coffee by the pool in the morning before leaving and it was very clean and relaxing. The property has been very well prepared for dealing with the pandemic (loads of hand sanitizer, great instructions, very clean). What really stood out for us was the proprietor - Patricia. She's a super organized host and went out of her way to ensure out late check-in was easy. Very friendly and helpful for our stay.

Great location between town and mountain

We ate at the restaurant and I had the steak special while the other 3 in our party had ravioli.  The steak came with leeks and locally picked mushrooms, but not vegetables or potatoes.  I became dreadfully ill from the food.  It was likely from a wild mushroom.  Called the next afternoon and spoke to the owner who was not receptive to my condition.  She became defensive and unapologetic.  We ate there 6 months ago and had a wonderful home cooked style meal with a full plate which included vegetables and potatoes.  This time you order steak, you only get steak.  New chef? Value just not there.

Restaurant food made me sick

The Inn is clean and well appointed.  Patricia, the owner, makes you feel right at home.  I was there predominately  to have a day of peace and quiet and to enjoy swimming in the pool.  It's a lovely fresh and clean pool and i had it to myself for 2 and a half hours. It was divine.

A Quiet, Cozy Retreat

Beautiful, very clean room. Amazing bed and shower. Located in a beautiful place where you can watch the sun set on the patio bar or patio restaurant.
Highly recommend and look forward to the next time!

Beautiful- Queen Suite

Everything we hoped for. A wonderful place to stay. A great atmosphere in the public rooms: lovely reading by the fire, or enjoying the view and sunlight in the breakfast room porch. Cosy restaurant. Loved our room. The location is perfect... close to mountain, quiet yet not far from the village, and well located to explore the region. Looking forward to our next visit!

The Perfect Winter Lodge

This establishment is an excellent place to stay while skiing Mont Sutton. The owner, Patricia, is very helpful and welcoming. Our room was cozy, comfortable, clean, and perfect for our needs. The common spaces are spacious and provide great views of the countryside. The location of the auberge is very close to Mont Sutton and close enough to the town of Sutton to pop in for check out the local businesses, but far enough out of town to be quiet. The restaurant offers excellent food and a great pasta special on Monday nights. We will certainly be back in the future.

Great Place to Stay for Mont Sutton

We recently had a wonderful meal a couple days.at the Auberge  The food ,service and hospitality offered by Patricia and  her staff  was fantastic.I had the grilled beef sirloin  which I highly recommend  Patricia informed me  was aged for 21 days.  was unbelievable and melted in my mouth the  french fries were delicious and the salads was were  local products .My wife had   lamb  Berger was which  tender and Scrumptious   along gabrielle” Potato and Cabbage Salad .Great local wine selection The red snapper looked fantastic.  Very large plates , next time will leave room for dessert as they looked very tempting.

Wow what a great meal shared amongst friends!
The service was excellent and we loved the ambiance!
I had the fish on the menu that was yummy and my boyfriend had the bolongnase gratiné that he devoured. My friends all loved their meals.

Great food in a great ambiance!

We stopped for one night on the way to skiing in Vermont from Toronto. Arrived around 9pm and had cocktails by the fireplace. The room was cute and clean, and the staff friendly and efficient. In the morning home made breakfast was yummy with locally sourced bacon. Would definitely recommend the Auberge and plan to stay again possibly to ski Sutton.

Charming country inn

Spent a weekend in Sutton skiing and stayed at the Auberge for 2 nights.  It was a nice quiet spot conveniently located between the town and the ski hill.  The room was clean and comfortable.  It was a bit small but I thought it was fine.  If you need a bigger room, I'm sure they have some.  They have a nice restaurant and unfortunately I did not eat there but it looked pretty good.  Overall, a nice place to stay for a weekend trip to the area.
