My husband and I spent the weekend at la Maison Bleue before its opening on June 1st.  We were welcome even though it was not officially open for customers. The couple made us feel at home, with a beautiful room, spacious living room with foyer, and an exquisite breakfast of homemade bread and maple syrup. I would highly recommend this for a wonderful weekend of relaxation in the countryside.  Eve Thompson

Weekend at La Maison Bleue

My boyfriend and I had a very restful trip here, despite us speaking very little French!  Robert was extremely kind and helpful in speaking English with us and translating when we were speaking with Chantal.  Both Chantal and Robert were consummate hosts, making delicious breakfasts and even setting out drinks for us when we needed to leave before breakfast our last day!  Our room was very cute and comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting out on the front porch.  You definitely need a car in this area, but there's plenty you can walk to in town, including Brasserie Dunham and Vignoble Clos Ste-Croix, our favorites.  Chantal can help with information on wineries to go tasting.  We are hoping to come back next year with improved French skills!

A peaceful trip!

We had booked this place online only the day before arriving and drove in thinking we had hit a homerun as the building is absolutely beautiful and the main floor is nicely furnished and the grounds spacious. Sadly we were given a room in the basement which was directly underneath the dining area and despite signs asking guess to remove their shoes,the owner wore high-heeled on the hardwood floors which echoed extremely loudly above our head as we tried to grab an afternoon nap and then first thing in the morning when we were hoping for a bit of a sleep in. I have no idea what the upstairs rooms are like and would like to give the place the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are as well appointed as the main floor however, if you are going to stay at this place do not under any circumstances take a room in the basement which are dark, loud and smell somewhat musty. The owner and her friend who runs the place are charming and extremely helpful and helped us to secure a reservation at the local restaurant which was celebrating its second anniversary

Possibly an unfortunate visit?????

If you're planning on going to do the "wine route" this is THE PLACE to stay.  The owner Chantal and her spouse Robert are amazing hosts. She greeted us warmly and her knowledge of the vineyards to visit were extremely helpful.  The property is huge and you have access to a great part of the property. The rooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable and it's very quiet and extremely clean.

This is the place to stay !

We recently stayed at the Auberge des Vignobles.  It is an easy to find, beautiful Victorian home on a great corner property.  It is close to places to eat, wineries and nature.  The rooms were clean and comfortable.  Staying here was part of the success of our trip.

Eastern Township Gem

We decided to take an extra day driving back to Rhode Island from Montreal and are glad we did. As this was a last-minute booking on Expedia we weren't sure what we were going to end up with but the photos made the place look attractive and it was in a convenient location for visiting vignobles and cideries producing good ice wines. 

The place greatly exceeded our expectations. Our only regret was not checking in before visiting the vineyards and orchards as the auberge has arrangements with the best of these to offer discounts to their guests. The beautiful grounds,gracious accommodations, and delicious breakfast made up for this. Couldn't have asked for anything more. 

Nice people, too. Did I mention that?
