Two double beds - clean and comfortable in Monica's home. We arrived late and Monica was warm and welcoming. We sat with her in her living room to chat at the end of each day. Breakfast was fine and Monica was happy to send us out with more tea, coffee and leaflets about the surrounding area. Because we are intersting in gardening, Monica invited us to walk around her family's landscape gardening and nursery business, chatting with her son. Lovely relaxing walks nearby.

Welcoming, comfortable, friendly and very relaxing

The lady is very nice. We arrived a little bit late, and my husband was sick. So I asked if we could borrow the kitchen to make some noodle soup. Monica said yes. The room was nice and bathroom was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Next morning, we enjoyed the breakfast and I asked how come the omelette was so tender and she taught me her secret recipe. Good experience. Will stay again if we visit Cape Breton again.

Nice place and nice owner

Called late in the evening, still had room.  Rooms are nice, clean, you have your own bathroom which is nice.  Lady is very nice, offered us breakfast but we were leaving early the next day, so we declined.  Overall, great place to rest.

clean and comfortable place to stay

Monica tried hard to please, but seemed a reluctant host. Found the atmosphere very sterile and uninviting. There was no place to sit comfortably as this accommodation is part of her home. She spends much of her time in front of the TV, which blasts out loud much of the time, we were afraid to interrupt Monica as she was mainly sitting - glued to her TV. There was no where comfortable to sit -  we were not invited to sit in the living room but offered a place at the dinning room table. Outside seating was adequate. One of the beds squeaked loudly every time you moved during the night!!! This B&B is about 10 minutes outside of Sydney NS

Clean with good breakfast

In a neighborhood a few miles from the town, and from restaurants.  Very clean home, with a few bedrooms she lets out as the B&B.  Parking on site.  Quiet area.  Good breakfast, basic and complete.  There is a big lindentree out front, but no signage.
