I recently stayed at Heathcote Haven with friends and used it as a home base as we tackled three portions of the Sydenham section of the Bruce Trail. I stayed in the spacious Valleyview Suite with a comfortable king bed, soaker tub and separate shower, mini fridge and large screen tv. Our rooms were located on the second floor of the home which provided us with privacy. Not that we wouldn't have enjoyed sharing our stories with Jocelyn who, in my opinion, is the perfect host. So friendly and accommodating but also left us to enjoy our time on our own. The rooms are very clean and the breakfasts were hearty. Thornbury is a short drive away which provided us with dinner on the two nights. I would highly recommend Heathcote Haven to Bruce Trail hikers or for anyone looking for a comfortable B&B, hosted by a most warm and welcoming (with a great sense of humor) host.

A Hiker's Haven

This B&B is a hidden treasure and Jocelyn the owner is so kind, down to earth and makes you feel right at home. It is so peaceful with a lovely pond where you can enjoy the birds as you watch the sun go down. Our large room was quiet, comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Jocelyn gave us great recommendations for restaurants, bakeries and areas for scenic drives. We can’t wait to return this summer. It was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jocelyn for your hospitality and we feel like we made a friend.

A Hidden Treasure

My partner and I stayed at the Heathcote over Labour Day weekend and we have nothing but good things to say about Jocelyn! Not only is she incredibly personable and kind, but she truly cares about us having the best experience possible She provided lovely recommendations of things to do in the area, and the BnB itself was impeccable. We felt right at home! We would highly recommend this Bnb to anyone looking for an amazing getaway.

Incredible Stay!

We were a group of 4 (2 couples). Jocelyn made us feel like this was our home from the moment we walked in. Her property is pristine and located in an absolutely peaceful estate area. She was not only able to generously accommodate our vegetarian dietary restrictions, but it ended up being an extremely filling breakfast. Our rooms were spacious and sparkling clean. Wifi was a bit spotty, but if you're here for wifi, you're not going to appreciate what the location has to offer. Jocely was extremely gracious to let us use her microwave which she was (in my opinion) not obligated to do so. Jocelyn is extremly hospitable and the positive reviews make complete sense when you visit her. Walking around the nearby pond and watching the horses of the neighboring property just added to the entire country-side experience. Whether you want to go to the village or not, stay here. You would not want to even leave the house.

Jocelyn is fantastic

Everything was perfect for us. We booked the suite with the queen bed and the separate tv room. Actually, we were offered the choice of either rooms since we were the only guests in early March before we all had to adjust our lifestyles for the next little while. HH is a beautiful property and farm house with quite a few modern touches. Absolutely comfortable, scenic, great value for money. The highlight of your stay will be conversing with Jocelyn; she is a true gem!

A Beautiful Property and Great Place to Chill

My husband and I went to Heathcote Haven Bed and Breakfast for my 40th birthday and everything was lovely! Jocelyn is an amazing host and her place was spotless, quiet, bed was very soft and comfortable and the breakfast very good, too! We got the package with the Scandinave Spa bath access and everything was perfect! It is a 5 stars B&B! We definitely recommend :)

Excellent and Spotless B&B

We stayed here for a few days in August (yes, it has great A/C). Jocelyn was not only the best host, but has done a fantastic job of renovating this original farmhouse to include all the updated amenities. You would never guess its history! She provided a really good breakfast and honored my husband’s Paleo diet. The surroundings were really peaceful. There were views of the valley all around - ponds, mountains, horses. The location was great. As we were exploring the area, we found we could get anywhere in the area within a few minutes - from the Georgian Bay, to hiking, to waterfalls, to the Blue Mountains. Best of all, Jocelyn made it truly feel like home away from home. We highly recommend this B&B!

Look no further for a peaceful B&B with amazing views

First time to stay at a B and B.  Our stay was great.  Location is so peaceful.  We enjoyed the sunsets by the little pond.  Jocelyn was friendly and provided some good tips on where to eat in Thornbury.  Room was quiet with separate TV room.  Slept well.  Different breakfast each morning.  Tasty and attractively displayed.  Certainly recommend.  Thornbury and Collingwood are both great for walking and site seeing.  Dropped into the Blue Mountain on way home.  Next time to the spa.  Highly recommend.  No problems at all.

Better than Expected

We were looking for a B&B close to Colingwood and local area to celibrate our 10th anniversary after having spent our first weekend away as a couple in the area 10 years ago. We usually stay in downtown Collingwood but have in the past few years loved our experiences at B&B and found this one.
The arrangements were made easily with lots of follow up right up to arrive and throughout our stay.
it is extremly clean with a great host that is 100% committed to ensuring your stay was outstanding and comfortable. Breakfasts were to our taste and needs and the room offerred peace and quiet, large TV and Wi-Fi if yu chose to need it. 
Private parking and amazing views and good roads to and from.
Very happy and will return without question!

Perfect quiet location for exploring the area!

What an amazing experience, staying at Heathcote Haven. The suite was clean and spacious, Jocelyn was friendly and welcoming, the bed was huge and comfortable. Spare pillows and blanket, VIP entry to the Scandinavian Baths, a bottle of wine (with glassware!) waiting in the room, and a mini-fridge too. Ever-so-comfortable reading chair, plus a bistro set in front of one of the windows with a gorgeous view. Quiet and peaceful; very relaxing. The perfect getaway - I can't wait to go back again!
