There's a reason this is the #1 B&B in Meaford.  Highly highly recommend you book your stay anywhere near Blue Mountain, Owen Sound or anything really in the peninsula.  Don't forget to go to Ted's down the road for dinner.

Beautiful view, room, food, location, people

This was our first fall visit; we always visit in July so we can use the pool.  The weather wasn’t great; grey and gloomy, the colours weren’t at their best; a week or two until peak BUT the same great hospitality, immaculate property and the added benefit of getting to enjoy the cozy fireplace.  Totally relaxing and, since we were the only guests, sitting by the roaring fire with Heidi curled contentedly by our feet was perfect!

A lovely fall stay!

It was a wonderful way to spend are 34 anniversary. The view was so beautiful every way you looked. The room was everything I could have wanted and more. Loved the fireplace in the room it was so relaxing. My husband fell in love with Hidie there dog. She is so friendly. Clare was so helpful and friendly she treated us like family. Clare recommended Ted’s Range Road Dinner the food was so good. We will have to go back. Best weekend ever we will be back again. Gail

Amazing view

A short getaway into nature was a perfect reprieve from the daily grind. Clare was so helpful, including showing me the path to the Irish Mtn Lookout and to the lovely Tom Thomson nature trail just down the hill. Dinner at Ted's diner, also just down the hill, was amazing. All in all, this B&B is tops in my books, spotlessly clean, cozy, and includes a lovely breakfast. Highly recommended!

Wonderful views, peaceful setting, and great hospitality!

I recently stayed at Irish Mountain B&B and it was just what I needed! The room was lovely and cozy and view from my balcony was amazing! I enjoyed nature hikes on nearby trails and had a wonderful dining experience at Teds, (which is located down the road from the B&B).
I would highly recommend Irish Mountain B&B as a getaway destination!

Stunning view - comfortable and cozy rooms!

As someone with a high stress job, this spot was exactly what I needed.  The beauty and tranquility was incredible.  Clare was a most gracious hostess and  made me feel right at home.  I will definitely be back! and would highly recommend Irish Mountain B&B if you're looking to re-charge your batteries.

Just what I needed...

Our stay at Irish Mountain was incredible! The B&B is perched on top of the side of a hill overlooking Georgian bay which is truly a site to see. The room is absolutely gorgeous and we could not have asked for anything more with a very comfortable king bed, private large washroom, solarium to relax in and a private deck with hot tub off of our room. Roberta and her husband were fantastic and the food was nothing less then fabulous. If you have a chance go to Teds diner for a truly unique experience and incredible food. I cannot say enough about how lovely the Irish Mountain B&B was and it truly was an experience that I would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet, pampered weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will definitely return but unfortunately it won’t be soon enough!!!

Better then we could ever imagine!

There is absolutely NOTHING that John and Roberta could do to improve Irish Mountain B&B yet they added new patio furniture and a lovely table for the coffee station in the Lakeview Suite and new comfy leather sofas to the common room in the main house.

The breakfasts are a feast for the tummy and the eyes; quality ingredients expertly prepared and beautifully presented.  With two choices daily it’s hard to decide as EVERYTHING is wonderful.  Irish Mountain is immaculate, beds super comfortable, fluffy snow white towels, the grounds absolutely gorgeous and the views……..!!!  The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy the pool.  The highlight, for us, is John and Roberta allowing us to spend time with Heidi.  

Whether sitting on the deck or in the shade of the gazebo watching and listening to the birds and butterflies as you take in the incredible vista, you can’t help but relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.  We’ve booked for a few days in October and again for next summer.  Highly recommend.

PERFECTION!

Everything at The Irish Mountain was above and beyond perfect for our little reunion of 3 girlfriends.
The beds were comfy, the hot tub with a view amazing, the sparkling wine the perfect touch.
We enjoyed visiting the winery nearby, and had a restful day at The Scandinave.  The Irish Mountain is a comfortable and relaxing place to come "home" to at the end of a day of adventures.
We had to leave early to catch a flight, and Roberta and John packed us the cutest little to-go breakfasts to take on the road.  A detail that made us love our weekend even more.  Thank you both for a fantastic trip and stay.

Friends Reunion Getaway

Located in the country, just a 5 min drive into Meaford, Irish Mountain Bed and Breakfast is a quiet setting with well-maintained grounds. John and Roberta are great hosts, that provide an environment that allow you to enjoy the weekend the way you want to. My wife and I are planning to stay again in the future. Highly recommended
