Me and my friend stayed here for 3 nights in june. This place was AWESOME. Check in was super easy and quick. The staff is very friendly and answered all my questions. The rooms were so so nice and clean. There was a mini fridge and AC. Coffee and ice was available at the office 24hr. The are a lot of seating area outside to have a drink at night and look at the beautiful sunset. 

The best part of this hotel is the location. It is pretty close to every big attractions in the area, and also a walking distance to some shops, and restaurants. There is also a spot to lunch a kayak or paddle board right in front of the hotel. I would go back any time and recommended it to every body visiting Tobermory.

AWESOME HOTEL

Just returned from staying 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this little gem!!
Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff very friendly.  Location is great offering a water view.  Motel has several nice seating areas where you can bbq and eat, or just sit and enjoy the scenery.   Location is across the water from the Ferry dock, but only a 15 minute walk to get there.  We enjoyed being slightly away from the "main tourist area" and being able to watch the ferry come in and out several times a day.  Plenty of parking right in front of your room, and coffee available at the Front Desk every day.  No restaurant on site, but there are several only a 10-15 minute walk away.    
Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back!

A Great Stay!

Rooms clean. As expected. Beds comfortable. Several outdoor seating areas which was great for our group of 17. Stayed 1 night.
Short walk to restaurants, shopping, marina.
Would recommend and stay again.

Great stay

Very clean rooms. Beds were very comfortable.  Great location and nice seating areas with couches and tables. It is walking distance to the marina and shops/restaurants.  Coffee and ice are available in the office. We had the room with a king bed and it was spacious. Fridges are also in the rooms. Will definitely return

Beautiful motel, newly renovated, rooms are clean and spacious!!
Staff is awesome!  I loved the close proximity of the amenities…once we parked the car…we did not need to use the car.

I highly recommend this motel.

Lovely motel

We stayed for two nights.  Perfect spot for sunset views, only 10 minutes walk to town  and the bay is just down the road.  Friendly staff, room is spacious and clean.
100% satisfied and will book again on our next trip to Tobermory!

Excellent location

We stayed there for 5 days at Tobermory.   The room was clean and well decorated as per the picture on the website.  The room did have a small bar fridge which was not mentioned on the website but was great as it was the one thing that we felt it was missing.   The office has a Keurig machine and you can get coffee anytime which is great as I love my coffee and it was good coffee. The motel is a 10 minute walk to "downtown" Tobermory and all the restaurants which is quite convenient as you have to pay for parking everywhere in the town.   All in all, we loved it.  My only complaint was it was a bit pricey at $200/night but there were definitely many more expensive places when I was trying to book not many had 5 day availability and I booked a month before we were going.

Excellent Place to stay

We had a wonderful stay at this motel! Everything was clean, the rooms and outdoor sitting areas. They have many amenities for the guest. In the office area you can find coffee and tea, a microwave hair dryers. They have 2 barbecues for guest to use as well as 3 pretty sitting areas. This was one of my favourite parts being able to mingle with friends and other guest throughout our stay. The motel is well situated just walking distance from restaurants and stores. The staff was so so so incredibly helpful and resourceful when we needed them. We cannot thank you enough for your help on our trip. I would recommend this place to everyone going to Tobermory!

Beautiful motel & beautiful people

The motel was an excellent location, tucked away and had gorgeous sunset views. We could walk to everything in town and the bay was right beside us where we went paddle boarding, saw many shipwrecks and many ships coming in. The motel has 2 floors and we stayed in room 15.(lower level)  There are 3 decks around the motel and the upper deck was fabulous for us. We had snacks, drinks on the deck and the outdoor furniture was comfortable. The front office offered keurig coffe and tea. Ice machine available with ice buckets. This is offered 24 hrs. The lower deck offered a BBQ as well. Our room was very clean with 2 queen beds and 3 people was enough. 4 in a room could be a little tight.  Yes we could hear some noise above us ( mostly running feet)  but it is a motel.  The staff were awesome. I would recommend this motel. The cost of everything has gone up everywhere so in my opinion, the rate was reasonable.

Stayed at Grandview Motel for 2 nights to go hiking to the Grotto. 3 sisters.

Away from the congested centre of things but within easy walking distance of everything. We didn’t move our car, so we avoided the need to pay for parking elsewhere.   Small room but well appointed with nice linens and a heated bathroom floor.  Reliable internet.  Ample seating on several decks.   And the coffee is excellent, 
The chichimong provides a wake up call just before 9:00, which reminds you to watch it load and depart
