The price was the most reasonable upon checking for accommodations in Trail.  Staff was friendly, with a good in check in and out.  The room was impressive.  Nicely updated, clean, and spacious.  Thick white towels and newer bedding.  I have pet allergies, but was not bothered by the pet-friendly rooms.  Parking right in front of the room was convenient.  And even though the motel is on the main drag / highway, the traffic noise was minimal.  I slept well.  Good stay.

Very Good Stay

We stayed at the Glenwood for 3 days while visiting family and friends in Trail. It was a very hot day when we got into town but they had the AC running when we arrived and the room was nice and cool. We stayed in a studio suite, which was quite spacious with a sitting area, a desk with a sizeable workspace (which my husband appreciated), loads of storage space, and a very comfortable king bed. The room was immaculately clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Although it is an older property the inn has been nicely updated and has both an indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, and exercise room. It is located next to the main highway through town, but as I always wear earplugs when staying at a hotel anyway and my husband can sleep pretty much anywhere, proximity to the road was not an issue and we both slept very well. The staff were friendly and  accommodating, which only added to our pleasant stay. We will be going back to Trail once or twice a year to visit loved ones and the Glenwood Inn will be our first choice for accommodation.

Immaculately clean

We stayed one night at the Glenwood Inn and Suites. It is a sister hotel to the Best Western in Trail but is not a Best Western hotel. The price is cheaper than the Best Western. We checked out the regular room but it was too small so we opted for the one bedroom which suited our needs better. We appreciated the fact that their hot tub was open with COVID restrictions of course. Parking was right outside our room which we appreciate when travelling. We would stay here again.

Choose the One Bedroom

Travelling with grand daughter and got the room we asked for.   Excellent staff on check in on a hot day and they had already turned on the A/C, so we entered a very cool room.  Excellent beds and a very large room.  Hot breakfast in the morning which was very good.  Not at all expensive during summer travel.  Certainly stay again.

Excellent placd to stay

I stayed here on a Saturday night and it was perfect for what I needed. It was quiet despite being close to the highway, clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was fine.
I will stay here again!

Was perfect for my needs

They’ve taken a middle of the road product and improved it. We have been staying here for three years to go fishing. We assume the ownership has changed. New carpets, a/c units and everything spruced up. 
This will never be a really good hotel, the location is not good. But with what they have, they’ve done a great job.

A noticeable improvement

We recently used the motel as a place for my wife and dog to stay while I was at the Trail hospital.  Our room was clean and modern and the beds were comfortable. The staff service was excellent and everyone there was kind to our dog and helpful to my wife.
My only concern is that on the final invoice I noticed that the rates had increased by over $20 a night for the nights of our third and fourth day.  When I questioned this increase by email I received no answer to my first or second inquiry.  I suggest that you confirm the rates for your entire stay before you give them your credit card.

Used this hotel for a short stay in the local hospital,    Right on hwy#3b on the east side of town in good position of my needs        Pros.   very clean room and bathroom. layout had a small bathroom with just bath/shower combo  the sink  and countertop was along the back wall beside one of the double beds. included microwave and fridge.    Cons.   tv was modern but cheap..indoor and outdoor pools were closed and no breakfast because of Covid.   and the stupidist thing of all was the door numbers. its a  motel. where you park your car etc at the room door. you would think the numbers would be easily seen .but no. they are on the metal strip with the door knob. about 2 inches high

good   pick

We were coming to Trail to go fishing. Our guide suggested the hotel as good value. It is poorly located on the side of a main road. But on checking in (and later out) everything was well handled. 
Our room was well it, very clean, and everything worked. Internet was good, able to charge our phones etc withUSB PLUGS. 
Lots of hot water. Good air con/ heater.
A list of restaurants printed out and suggested. ( it did not mention that on Monday nights everything in Trail bar one is closed). Trail is a bit of a dismal spot but the river is special.
All in all a very satisfactory stay, and good value.

Surprisingly good

Stayed in basic room for 2 weeks for work during COVID. The staff here are so great! They really took care of my co-workers and I and went above and beyond to help make our stay feel like home. Such a great small town feel with people banding together to help each other through this difficult time. I felt SO safe with the measures they were taking and protocols in place. You guys are doing a fantastic job! Keep it up!
