Small independent motel in Trois Rivieres.  Room has a good size and looks sharp.  Microwave and fridge with small freezer in room.  Room was clean.  Bed was comfy.  AC controlled outside but was good.  Changed out towels, garbage bins etc after our first night without us asking.  Gave us travel brochures for the area.  Lady very nice but does not speak English.  Park in from of room.  Quiet location.    No coffee maker.

Small independent Hotel Canadien in Trois Rivieres Is Good

Charming classic motel across the lightly traveled highway from the river. Though a little dated, you can tell owners care about the property and guest comfort. Enjoyed rural setting including a multitude of cats that roam the property and not too loud hens and roosters nearby. Brightly painted tables and chairs outside each unit make a nice spot to enjoy a self provided drink in the evening,  or a cup of tea in the morning. 

Clean & quiet classic motel

We were going to stay in a more upscale hotel in Trois Riviere, but so glad we didn't. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. We loved the faux fireplace that added some ambiance to the chilly evening. Other reviews mentioned the owners don't speak English. Although the wife doesn't, she grabbed her husband who had enough English to recommend a nice restaurant for dinner. We had fun exploring the neighborhood directly behind the motel, which consists of farm houses and fields. The river across the street can be accessed if you don't mind walking between the homes that front the river. With morning continental breakfast included, Motel Canadien is a great deal.

Off the grid find

I stayed here 2 nights. The location and parking are very comfortable. The room was big! The bathroom was clean. I had a good sleep, no noise. The breakfast was very good, large selection of toast/cereal/juice. The staff was very nice.

Comfortable!

We found this hotel for a stop before Quebec City. It was pretty ordinary from the outside, but the room was clean and even had a fireplace. The staff were all friendly and surprised that someone from Indiana had stopped there. They didn't speak much English, but we figured out the wifi and the keys. 
We enjoyed the breakfast with a choice beyond bread.
The mattresses need to be up-dated, but for one night, we were OK.

Cozy stop

We found this to be a great location for the dog show. The drive is spectacular along the river. It was very quiet and clean. Breakfast was easy. They allow dogs!We will return.It was very easy to find and near to good restaurants/.

Perfect for my needs

We read good reviews about the motel and were not disappointed.  The room felt like home.  It was so clean and smelled fresh.  It was a hot day and the room was nicely cooled.  Also a great location for heading to Quebec City the next day.
