Reasonably priced, friendly staff and easy to locate this Inn.   Included: Wi-Fi, microwave, mini fridge, TV, hair dryer and coffee machine.   Stayed in room 111.  Total price with taxes $113.85 per night.    They are in the process of doing reno's on some of the rooms.

Comfortable Stay

The pictures look great and yes they are cute and renovated.   The bed was even comfy BUT I arrived during a heat wave there was nobody in the office and I had to call 2 different phone numbers to get a person who answered said " one moment" then hung up on me.  A girl came in a few min to check me in.  My first room was on the second floor and the air conditioning unit was blowing out hot air.  Back down to the desk which was again unmanned another phone call and wait for a person.  She deemed the air conditioner broken then moved me to another room which was down and then up a different set of stairs.    This air conditioner was blowing cool air so I had hope but after an hour the room was still sweltering.    I had to call again to get the WiFi password  which took forever to connect but it said connected no internet.  I attempted to watch a Netflix show but gave up after connecting and disconnecting so many times.  So I tried the TV I had to use the bed closest to the air conditioner to try and keep cool so the TV was across the room and it only had 13 channels not even basic cable.   Because I was still so hot I attempted a shower to cool down it was advertised as a deep soak tub but instead it was a beautiful newly renovated shower with a large rain head.  However there was no hot water I was only able to wash down lightly as it was far too cold to even step in.   The bed was very comfortable and I think under less extreme circumstances in weather it would be an okay place to stay.   It was very clean and they are in process of renovating.    The carpet is still very worn but clean.

Is the place showing some age absolutely but I got everything I was looking for therefore it gets 5 stars. I will without a doubt be staying there again.

It's all about perspective

Friendly management, spacious parking, spacious, quiet rooms.  Fast wifi 14Mbps, fridge microwave, table, chairs, fastidious cleanliness, big closet, hot shower. Everything freshly painted and maintained.

Great night's sleep Best price in Valemount

This accommodation was booked for us by our tour group organiser. We stopped here just for one night after spending the evening shopping and sight-seeing in Jasper town.

The hotel had a feel of a real frontier town motel as the building structure was made from logs of wood, there was a wide open parking space for many cars and buses, and a central log cabin with a pit for a campfire with benches and picnic tables to sit around and enjoy a barbecue party. In fact, that is exactly how our group enjoyed the chilly evening having a barbecue dinner around the fire. We were served with barbecued sausages and rolls, with vegetarian patties for the vegans, and coleslaw salad, with everyone learning how to make marsh-mellows on the open fire from our tour guide. It was great fun.

Our ground floor wooden cabin was quite basic but comfortable with three large beds, and a small dining table with chairs. The bathroom was spotless and had a tub with the basic toiletries. There was wi-fi but no microwave, tea or coffee maker in our room.
 
Being located next to the Southern Yellowstone Highway we went out for a morning walk in the open areas around Swift Creek and George Hicks Regional Park nearby. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but checked out with our group for an outdoor breakfast and dance at Willow Ranch.

Motel With A Frontier Feel.

We were unhappy with the room and were scammed as they seemingly could not refund our money 
They kept saying it was “our problem “ even after our bank confirmed there was no reason for them not to be able to process the refund

Mistake

Everywhere in Valemount except here was full, we wish we had kept driving or slept in the car. It wasn't particularly cheap but even at a low price I would never stay again. The beds were excessively firm. The electrics were not safe with exposed wiring and flickering lights. The window was cracked and the handle feel off it. The curtains didn't fit the window and we had a view of rubbish out back. Although they did supply coffee they didn't supply milk or cream. The television had one channel playing lo cal radio on audio and adverts on the screen. Trying to bring up problems with the receptionist was impossible due to his poor standard of English.

Absolutely nothing positive about this motel.

A friend and I stayed here in late June. One of the proprietors did not speak English (Korean), but very friendly. However, the restaurant next door was not opened and we ate at a Chinese restaurant nearby. This accommodation in Valemount was reasonable compared to lodging in Jasper, Alberta which has become outrageous in costs anytime after May to October, the peak season for travel. I used to stay in Jasper every year during the summer, either at a B&B or motel but the rates are now $250 or a $100 more for a 2-3 star motel. 

Pleasant accommodation, Reasonable Price

Rooms recently upgraded as rugs and walls all new. No fridge or ice machine. Was time by owner that yellowhead inn down the road is sister hotel and can get ice from there. Located close to everything like restaurants and stores. Little pricey but compared to others it was a deal at $139. Clean and easy access. Even smells like a cabin with that pine smell. Thumbs up.

Cabin feel

This place is appalling.  We stayed here after an decision by our tour company on the final stage of a 4 day Rocky mountains discovery tour.  The other 2 hotels were fabulous but they saved the worse to last.

Our room reeked of cigarette smoke despite a sign threatening a $200 fine for smoking in the room.  The towels were tiny thin and threadbare.  Our room (111) was on the bottom and during the night we heard a dripping sound and found a significant bathroom leak from the room above.  The pace is not clean.  Dust everywhere including hairs down the side of the toilet.  The floor above is timber so you better not have a noisy neighbor above as you will hear every step.  I could go on about the rock hard beds, ugly decor, no shampoo, nuked cut off trees as a view out the back but really just do not stop in here as you will be disgusted.
