It is a small bad & breakfast located in Brew Bay, halfway between Powell River and Saltery Bay. Very kind and caring house owners, who do everything to make guests comfortable. Apart from the room there is also a living area for breakfast or dinner to prepare independently.

Oasis of peace.

We have been in the birdsnest B&B for 3 nights with 3 people. Nice rooms and a big living room to share if others are around. We had a good breakfast with self service and fresh fruits every morning, coffee and tea whatever we liked. 
From here you can go down to the shore very easily and it is a very good spot for watching salmon only 5 minutes to walk from the house. 
We would recommend the B&B! 

Nice B&B

After a ferry crossing from Comox to Powell River BC we motored south on Hwy. 1 to the Birdsnest for the night. We were immediately impressed with the pristine setting with the view of Brew Bay. A pathway leading us from the BnB to the water allowed us to enjoy a stroll with stunning views.Our room with an ensuite was spacious and clean. The next morning we were refreshed from a good night's sleep in the comfortable queen bed. The self serve breakfast included plenty of fresh fruit and cereals . My only regret is that we didn't book at least another night.

A gem!

We stayed in the Herron room, it has the ensuite and the bed was so very comfortable.  Believe what you see in the pictures for view and then add the experience of actually being on site it is truly a fantastic location.  The hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and activities to do.  For the remote location the wifi was strong during our stay.  Continental breakfast had a huge variety.

A Jewel In A Paradis Setting

Birdsnest is clean, comfortable, affordable and just a short distance from downtown Powell River.  Their yard is lovely and the view of the bay from their place is amazing. Breakfast was continental, with a good selection of items to chose from even though we were the only guests that day.

The hosts are friendly and Sharon even went to the trouble of mailing me a pin that fell off of my jacket in the bedroom.

My one minor complaint was that we could not find a phone number or email for them so had to book through an agency.  However we received direct contact information after booking.

A Charming B&B

Discovered this gem after our usual hotel in "downtown" area of Powell River upped its price per night. The only draw-back is a slight one in the few extra minutes it takes to drive from the Bird's Nest B&B into Powell River town area.  Easily found on the sea-ward side of Hwy 101, the Bird's Nest is super clean with an above average quality breakfast ( self-serve) of cereals, fresh fruit, coffee and several other sides - buns, jam, butter, etc.  A big bonus is the superlative view out to the nearby ocean from the big screen TV equipped lounge, with 3 bedrooms; all located on the lower floor of a two-story home set among tall evergreens.  Only two of the bedrooms share a spotless bathroom with modern shower stall - the other bedroom has en suite.  There's a convenient pathway leading down to a close-by river mouth flowing to the sea - a pleasant stroll beckons.  An excellent option for under 80.00 CAN/night ( as of Aug, 2016), even in the high season.
