We stayed at Marketas‘ for three nights as part of our journey through Canada and the United Stated and it was really great. The staff was nice and helpful, the room was clean and they had a variety of delicious breakfasts. Also it was close the the waterfront and a lot of attractions. We can only recommend this B&B!

Really good B&B

Marketa’s in Victoria is our go-to place whenever we visit Victoria. It’s right up from the Coho ferry 2 or 3 blocks. Everything is walkable from here. Fisherman’s Wharf, the front street, downtown. The rooms are comfy and quiet. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts are delicious and filling. Just enough to get your day started, as you go on daily journeys. So much to do and see within walking distance. We had our car so there’s even more to see and do (Oak Bay). Marketa’s is easily worth three, four or five nights. It is by far the best deal in town.

Marketa’s is simply THE best place to stay in Victoria, BC. Comfy rooms, lovely staff, great food. Superb location!!!

Beautiful experience at Marketa's!!!

From the first phone call,  I felt welcome. 
Gerel had my room ready and warm.  It was perfect as I was very tired. Dar and Gerel work together with a pride that shows.  The room was so inviting and there is a sitting area beside it.  The bed was so comfortable.  And the breakfast was a choice.  I choose the Eggs Benedict and they were so good and my daughter had the pancakes.  It was all perfect.

Home away from home

Marketa's is a special place with beautiful rooms! Love the linens, and the close attention to detail, super clean and comfy. It's a short walk to restaurants and the inner harbour. Very picturesque neighbourhood. Lovely!

Great home, wonderful location

Love Marketa's!  This was my second time here and will stay again. Marketa runs a beautiful bed and breakfast with a brekky worth bragging about.  Clean rooms full of character and no two are the same.  Marketa's is an experience with having, and just a few blocks from the parliament building.

Weekend getaway

On a tight budget, I almost felt stranded trying to find a room for one night in Victoria, BC.
   Fortunately, I found Marketa's B&B and had an amazing night. It was affordable, I had my own bathroom, in a cozy, clean, comfortable room.  I woke up to the smell of fresh coffee & homemade muffins! Warmly greeted by friendly, kind faces- alongside an amazing breakfast! 
  The home is in beautiful James bay and very close to the inner harbor/ downtown Victoria.  I was able to park my car and easily walk to do my shopping. Thankfully, there is also a nice little kitchen for guests to use, so I was able to make my own dinner too. 
This place goes above and beyond great guest service. I was treated like family and I didn't want to leave! I wish I could have stayed longer and I am grateful to have found such a special place to stay.

Special Space

I just love Marketas and the old charm of her place. This is the 3rd time I have stayed and nothing have changed. The amazing breakfast is still as tasty as years ago. Excellent location in the heart of the James Bay Peninsula. Easy walking everywhere. Staff is very helpful. Thank you Marketa, Dar and Ge keep up great work.
