A comfortable, clean place - comfortable beds, a table and chairs for your coffee and breakfast , a good size bath tub.  Did not try the restaurant, but will do so next time.

I spent a few nights here for the purpose of hiking in the area.  It is a great location - quiet, yet close to Carcross and not that far from Whitehorse.

Exactly what I needed

At first glance, this looks like just a typical country motel.  However the room was lovely, a good size with excellent facilities.  We had no complaints at all.

But what really makes this place are the owners.  It's a family run business, and Richard, our host, couldn't do enough for us.  The food in the restaurant was amazing, with a fusion of Vietnamese, Chinese and Canadian.  

In our three week holiday in the Yukon ad Alaska, this was without doubt the best place we stayed in. If you are visiting Carcross, we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Surpassed our expectations

Used Spirit Lake motel as a stop from getting off the ferry in Skagway on the way to Whitehorse. It's a few minutes away from Carcross.

Great place to stop, room was comfy, warm and clean and staff were very friendly. I had breakfast in the restaurant the morning after which was tasty and good value. 

Would definitely stop by again.

Friendly and clean

We ate as many meals as we could during our 6 day stay at the Spirit Lake Lodge!! The food was always delish and the service was always excellent!! The menu selection and prices are comparable to restaurants in the south and the portions are very generous. We highly recommend eating and staying at the Spirit Lake Lodge which is 10 km north of Carcross!!

We Love This Place!

The food is good, lots of variety and fairly fast service. The restaurant is close to Emerald Lake and is waking distance to another just behind.  Its about 10 minutes from Carcross,  Fair prices and easy parking.

Road Break!

I've been here twice for lunch while on the scenic drive from Skagway to Emerald Lake.  Small, family run restaurant with a very diverse menu.  Great place to have lunch if you are doing this drive while on a cruise.

Nice place for lunch

Needs updating.. grass not cut, picnic tables paint peeling, water tap no handle but 30 amp service..did not see anyone pulling into this place in 3 hours..run by Chinese people..needs drastic work it is close to carcross and would stay there next time 

Run down...this was probably a nice motel and RV park in it's day but for $45 for a 30 amp service at site and water and dump at

We did our own ‘excursion’ from Skagway, rented a car and just drove it was great. But, we stopped here to have lunch. We should have known when the sign on the door says $2.00 to use rest rooms! We asked if we had lunch if that applies and the lady, owner, goes into this long story about how people would stop and go se rest rooms and it cost so much to get the tanks pumped etc. all that being said the meal was really bad, my chicken sandwich was a frozen breaded patty. Reminded me of what they forced on us in grade school. Hubby’s hamburger was very marginal. 
Lots of signs that they really don’t want your business!!
