We kind of took over the B & B (4 couples) for a few days in July and it was wonderful. The house is beautiful, Pamela is a great host and the rooms were great.  It was a bit cool and rainy and the fireplace room was an inviting place to relax.  A great experience overall. Thanks Pamela!

Family trip

This is a hidden gem of a Bed and Breakfast.  Pamela was an attentive host.  She was very accommodating to our travel plans which were very fluid.  

The continental breakfast was great. The conversation was terrific.

Great Bed and Breakfast

The atmosphere is very relaxed and homelike. I really appreciated being able to do laundry and cook some meals. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms are shared. The owner has two dogs which were not a problem. The garden is amazing. The home is non smoking.

Feels like home

First the positives: we had a lovely room, very modern with a very comfortable bed, large TV, etc. The B&B had lots of indoor and outdoor space which we were free to use if we wished. The B&B was in a quiet residential area - therefore no problem with parking and about a 5-10 min drive to the centre of Whitehorse. However, when we booked with Expedia it was described as a deluxe room with private bath. The bathroom was in fact a shared bathroom. On the night we stayed there was fortunately only one other guest but if the house had been full we would have been sharing with several other rooms. Not what we were expecting.  Breakfast was OK but nothing special.

Lovely room but not a private bath as booked

This place had multiplayer rooms rented out to a bunch of different people, which made it noisy late at night. Bathrooms are shared by multiple rooms and were usually in use. Bathroom was also really dirty and needed to be cleaned, but wasn't cleaned once the 4 days we were there. There was also no blackout curtains In a place that never gets dark, which made it hard for us to sleep as we're not use to the sunlight. No Wifi was available either. The dogs also have a tendency to chew up shoes that are left out. The price was pretty cheap, but I would much rather spend and extra $50 for my own space that I know will be clean and will have my own washroom. Breakfast was one bright spot, quite a bit of options, my only complaint would be there was only ever one pot of coffe but on for up to 12 people, so if you weren't one of the first few down to breakfast, you wouldn't get coffee. I know this review seems harsh, but I stayed at 5 different places while on this trip and this s the only place i wouldn't stay again. I Wouldn't recommend unless you don't plan on spending any time in your room and can sleep through anything. 

More like a boarding house

This was my first experience with B&B and the worst for my hotel bookings in so many years. First, I want to be fair to the host to provide positive feedback. The B&B located in a quiet area with easy parking. The house was clean with nice decoration and a beautiful garden in the backyard. Breakfast was average, dining area was nice and clean. My reservation showed that I booked a room with a queen bed and a single bed for 2 adults and a young child. However, when we checked in, we were told we need to pay an extra $100 for an additional person and an extra bed. The extra bed we were charged for $40 was not a single bed, instead it was an airbed, which was not comfortable to sleep in. The host showed me many pages of the B&B policy which I didn't receive when I made the reservation. I think there might be some miscommunications between the host and hotels.com for reservation details (guest, beds etc). I said I would pay the extra $100 and asked for some information (I never received the policy from the host) in order to contact hotels.com later to clarify. However, the host was not nice during our discussion and told us we could find another place to stay in Whitehorse and she would still charge us the full amount. She also said I argued with her, which was not true. The WiFi was supposed to available from 8am to 9:30pm, however, when we left around 8:20am the next day, no WiFi was available. I would not stay in this place again and would not recommend to any friends.
