Owners were friendly and hospitable. Children's play /family area was separate . Nice firepit! Clean rooms. Siblings and I stayed for the weekend with children for a family reunion in Wingham...can't wait to go again!

Clean rooms, friendly owners, nice firepit!

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at this motel several times and long over due for a review .  In the last several years I have never stayed at the motel without noticing positive changes.  The owners are constantly upgrading , the rooms are spotless , all redone with modern amenities.  There is an outdoor sitting area , bbq, great for kids or a family get together.  I’ve stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels that were not nearly as nice .  It’s a nice drive from many many attractions , don’t miss an opportunity to stay there when you are in the area .

Best kept secret !

One of the best motels I’ve stayed in.  The new owners have really freshened up the place with new beds and new floors.  The bedding was very nice and the sleeping experience was a good one. 
Would definitely recommend.

Clean and fresh

We came to Wingham to perform a Christmas show at the Wingham Theatre. We got to stay at the Wingham Hotel and we're very pleased with the accommodations! We arrived late because of our trip, yet still had an amazingly warm response from reception. We don't get to Wingham often, but this is the only place we would recommend. Will definitely be back!

Great hotel and fantastic staff!

Crazy storm forced us to stay in Wingham. I was very happy with our stay in this little, roadside motel. The staff was very pleasant, friendly, engaging and helpful. We woke up to 3 feet of new snow and they had already dug out and cleaned off our car!! Wow.
The room was more than adequate - it was simple but very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, wifi was great and plenty of TV channels.

Storm-stay

I stayed several nights at this motel and found it to be very cozy and convenient.
The room had everything I needed, and the bed was super comfortable. 
My hosts are very kind and caring people, and I got to know them over light breakfasts in the office. I would definitely recommend this place, and I would stay there again without hesitation.

Pleasant stay while working away from home

First headache was the GPS could not find the address. Found the motel anyway- (love having paper maps as back up). This is a one off type family business. They still use regular steel cut keys for room door locks BTW( not plastic cards). While room was clean etc - no hair dryer and no clock in room. Asked at front desk and these were quickly supplied. Beds comfy enough- flat screen TV- floating floor instead of stale carpeting-nice touch. Breakfast was included in rate but only started at 8.00 a.m.( a bit late for our liking). Wifi was strong and had no issues there.

Decent stay in Wingham.

Clean and very friendly owner.  Your basic roadside motel trying to keep up with the big chain hotels.  The owner (lady?) was very welcoming and had the heat turned up for us when she know we would be arriving very late that evening.  Give them a try!!  We found everything acceptable and cleanliness is always our number one concern and we were not disappointed.

DECENT HOTEL

This motel is the only 1 available in Wingham, so that’s why I picked it. The room was clean, there was a light breakfast offered (coffee, toast, cereal, & fresh fruit). It’s basic, & the other side of the downtown core, so you have to drive to get dinner.

Basic & clean

This was a disaster. The mattress was worn out, the heater noisy and smelly. The clock radio did not work. The room was reasonably clean.  The shower was great, but there was no bath mat. We did not even try the continental breakfast.
