We had an excellent four day trip with Reel Obsession. The accommodations were very comfortable and cleaned daily. The food was out of this world. Gourmet prepared dinners and appetizers. Great breakfast selection and tons of food for the day on the water. My wife is gluten free and they accommodated every meal for her. Our fishing guide, Jason was great. He’s a Vancouver Island native, very knowledgeable, great sense of humor and has a killer playlist on the boat. Oh yeah, he knows where the fish are too! Adrian and Angie run a top shelf operation. We’d highly recommend and will be back.

Best 10th Anniversary Trip

We had a fantastic vacation and an experience of a lifetime at Real  Obession Fishing & Lodge, Zebellos BC. Deep-sea fishing wasn’t by my bucket list but on one of the other members of our group. I would first like to thank our guide Cowboy. . He worked so hard and knew where to find the fish, he had lots of patience for amateurs. We caught our limits of Chinook and Cocoa every day, plus lingcod rockfish and halibut! After fishing all day we returned to the lodge for a delicious five star meal cooked by Chef Billy. He gave us a description of how he prepared each dish. Really enjoyed the commentaries Billy! Angie, all land staff, Adrian and all fishing staff and the villagers of Zebellos  made us feel like family. We feel lucky and blessed to have had this outstanding opportunity and experience. We will be telling great fishing stories for years to come. Thank you To everyone at Reel Obession for a fantastic fishing trip and making dreams happen

Reel  Obession Fishing- Fish On!

We took two of our older grandchildren to Reel Obsession based on a recommendation from a local businessman. He couldn't have been more right on the money if he tried. The staff and guides at the lodge were very friendly, professional and helpful in every regard. The fishing guide, aka Cowboy knew where to find fish and was fantastic with the grandkids setting hooks and teaching them how to land fish, identifying the different fish species and how to fillet the catch. It was a real learning experience for them. They are both looking for an opportunity to return, as am I. The facilities were very clean and tidy. Food was fantastic. Accommodations were very good, Angie had a room with a kingsize bed and two twins to meet our needs.Just ask her for any special room requests and Im sure she can meet your requirements. Although the last 42 kilometres of the road to Zeballos was gravel, it was well maintained and the scenery was picturesque. And to top it all off, the fishing was fantastic. Beautiful location. Two thumbs up!! Keep in mind that this is a fishing lodge and not a hotel. Its all about the fishing experience>

West of the Island Wonderful

This was our first trip on the west side of Vancouver Island. We went with our Grandparents but they had us pay our own fare. The meals were delicious, the scenery was spectacular, the fishing was excellent for halibut, ling cod and rock fish but the salmon was a bit slow, just the luck of the draw. Our guide, Cowboy, didn't fool around when the salmon were slow, it was off to the other areas to go after ground fish. And wow, did we find fish. All the gear we needed was supplied, Just catch fish. Adrian and Angie are running a first class operation. Five stars out of five. we can't wait to go again!

Prairie kids on the reel west coast

Excellent natural setting. Very good guide services. Excellent meals produced by chef Billy. Great staff and very easy to communicate with bookings. Angie is right on top of bookings, questions and follow ups. Adrian has ensured the guide boats are quick and superbly maintained. The boats are very stable platforms to fish from on the outer areas of Vancouver Island's Pacific coast. We 3 older guys had enough space with 3 single beds in our rooom and our own bathroom.

 Surprise Fishing Trip 🐟🐟🐟

Just finished 3 days of the best fishing I've ever experienced. Lots of fish!! Our Guide Talon was awesome; worked so hard on our behalf for us to catch fish. The staff at the Lodge treated us great. The food that the Chef prepared far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend Reel Obsession if you are looking for some great fishing and an outstanding getaway!!!

What a trip!!

My wife and I were warmly welcomed the minute we stepped off the float plane, and everything was taken care of for us.  Pretty location, comfortable room, fantastic food, and great camaraderie in the lodge with other fun guests.  And the fishing, wow: On Day 1 we got our limits of Chinook (up to 32 lbs) in the first hour, then a large halibut and lingcod, and we got back by lunch. Day 2 was a repeat of the first.  Day 3 was just for fun since we couldn't have fit any more meat in the airplane.  Our superb guide Tallon was really on the fish and worked hard to get our freezer stocked!
