Amazing place,beautiful hosts,fantastic location.
We booked this place for the location as it is very near the Great wall.We had a very warm welcome from the beginning,the hosts became friends to us very quickly.
The rooms were lovely and very clean and the courtyard/gardens were stunning.The food was amazing and produced from their local produce that they grow.
They showed us a shortcut to the wall which was very kind of them.They are amazing hosts and i would definatly recommend coming here.Top service.

Amazing place,beautiful hosts,fantastic location

Xuyingvin and Cao ji Ming are the nicest people that you will meet anywhere and helped us out so much. We could not thank them enough. They showed us the short cut trail walking to Mutianyu, organised a driver for us to visit Huanghuacheng, arranged beautiful evening meals and breakfasts for us and kept us supplied with endless hot tea. Their accommodation is clean and comfortable and the terrace/garden area is so relaxing. We could not have enjoyed our stay at their home in Beigou Village any more than we did it was just awesome.



Awesome - You Feel Like Family

My girlfriend and I stayed at this farmhouse for one night in September. The room was much nicer than I had expected and it was clean and spacious too. What makes this farmhouse special is the woman who runs it. She is incredibly kind and warm and goes out of her way to make you stay pleasant and relaxing. She speaks enough English to help arrange your morning trek and to make sure that you are well fed and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the farmhouse and it was fresh and tasty. In the morning we planned to leave very early but we were not sure exactly the route to the main entrance of the wall so she (and I wish I could remember her name) walked with us almost all the way which was not an easy walk for someone her age. We were there late September so the weather was already quite cold but it would have been nice to sit outside at night or in the morning to enjoy the views.

Great hospitality!

Don’t miss this experience even if you climb one step it’s wonderful. It’s extremely steep and dangerous in the rain but still a must see. You can climb as far as you like then have a drink and a shop.
