Staff speaks good English. An English sign of name visible from street would be nice. If you have choice take train 5 instead of 6 and exit D. Lot less walk in the station with bags. It's right behind exit D. Big supermarket across the street. Lots of restaurant nearby. Mosque, 24 hr Halal food.

Conveniently located, helpful staff

This budget hotel is located near 2 subway exits, a bakery, supermarket, and a fastfood chain. The staff can speak English and they also offer affordable day tours. The room was spacious, although I don't like the foul smell coming from the bathroom. They also allow free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. Overall, this is a decent and budget-friendly place to stay when in Beijing.

Budget-friendly

I love the location of this hostel. It is really near main tourist attractions! In addition, the hostel is just a walking distance from the subway station! The staff is really friendly and accommodating. They also sell some cheap food and drinks! However, the room where we stayed was kind of old. In terms of budget, this is good if you are traveling to Beijing on a budget!

The hostel is in an excellent location, beside the metro, near shops and within walking distance of a number of attractions in Central Beijing.  There is no restaurant or bar although there is seating in the reception area and they allowed us to bring food and drink in.  Luckily there was a supermarket and bakery very close by.

Staff we friendly and tried to help. 

The rooms are not good. We stayed twice in a twin at this location and on our first visit our room was satisfactory for the price we paid.  However, on our return, we arrived late and changed rooms 3 times.  Lights not working, lino coming up in room and a tripping hazard. On our third room, we gave up and ended up staying in a room that barely fitted our cases, with bedside lights not working and no hangers, wardrobe or drawers whatsoever. 

There is a laundry service available, however, rather than fold the clothes when dry, the stuff them in a bag all creased up.

Budget hostel

The location is really good. 1 minute to the Dong Xi metro station ( Exit D). Mcd,  KFC,  bakery, restaurants & supermarket are just around the corner. It's very convenient.

Male staffs are looking serious but helpful while the girl staff is pretty & polite. I accidentally booked one more night and they allowed me get back my money.

Toiletries are provided in small packet. Dustbin and towel are changed everyday. Room doesn't have hairdryer but is provided in the lobby toilet. Soundproofing is very poor. Bathroom is designed in semi mirror. There's a curtain for standard twin bedroom.

Fantastic Location!! 

Rather peculiar, but the alternative name for this hostel is called Spring Time Hostel,
There are female receptionists with limited english vocab, but " Bo " male staff has good english vocab. From Dongsi Metro, use either exit D or G ( lift available ), you can see the hostel ( chinese characters ) beside you. Your printout /digital accom. address comes in handy.
Ensuite Room had individual aircon unit and was cool. Soap and shampoo provided in small sachets. Bath towels were weathered though no stains. Electric jug with mugs provided. Housekeeping only clears out your disposal bins daily, They do not make up your beds nor vacuum/sweep the floor. Evidence of dust at corners were there daily ,even upon check in. ( Management, please take action ). Storage room for luggages provided at lobby area. You can either use metro line to get to the airport express train or a direct airport bus ( 7am - 7pm ), short distance away at Beijing Prime Hotel. Diagonally across, is a supermart,  Mac'd and eateries on both sides

Good location but poor housekeeping services

It is a nice place not far from the subway, good place to visit Beijing, you can easily find restaurant in the neighborhood. But be careful with the staff if you ask them to call a taxi for you. They risk to make you pay a more expensive price that the one expected.

Nice place but the hostel staff is not honest

A real value for money as it is close to train station. I don't expect too much on the amenities but I was personally off with the staff (GIRL with the short full bangs hair) who assisted us during check-in in the morning. I tried to convince myself that it might just be a miscommunication between but big NO - the staff (GIRL) was totally rude and she gave us an UNCLEANED room after insisting us "ONLY 12 noon CHECK IN!". This might be an isolated case just for transparency of my review but it was so clear that I added additional ONE DAY for our early check-in. In fact, they confirmed to me via AGODA app that we can do early check-in as we will check-out early but we ended up waiting for 2 HOURS in the lobby for a SMELLY room. We stayed on that smelly room for 2 days. As we can't bear the stinky smell coming from the bathroom anymore, I ask the staff (BOY) during night shift to change our room and agreed to change it by 12 noon. The next morning, the rude lady come to our room and ask why do we need to change our room, I told her that the smell is unbearable and asked her to check it out. I tried to composed myself and understand our language barrier and also tried the translator but I was SHOCKED when she told in my face "if you wanna change a better room, pay 40CNY per night" and advised me that "the room you booked smells" with annoyed looking. I said, "I'll just report this incident to the guy I asked last night". After the argument, she just let us changed our room and wasted half of our day. In all, we had a pleasant week exploring Beijing except for this event. It would be more satisfying if the staff knew how to be COURTEOUS enough as they work in hospitality industry and might as well be helpful moving forward if they can proactively check their system via AGODA or any third party booking app for special need of their customers.

- A rude staff, I just think most rooms in 3F are smelly. We transferred to 2F and it was decent.

It took me about 30 minutes to find this place, it is in a maze-yard. And the staff there are not friendly, what I mean "the staff" is the reception, straight face, and after check in, she didn't tell me where is the room, just thrown room card on the desk. And the cup in the room was dirty. there is no WIFI upstairs.
