The room was pretty dirty and would require a complete renovation (incl. bedroom and bathroom) - the quality of bed was the worst one I ever had in China - breakfast was ok (but not high end) - most annoying part was the rather low level and unfriendly service during check in and check out - I will definitely not stay another time in this hotel ...

Very disappointing stay - first and definitely last time to stay

I have been staying at the King and Queen Garden Hotel for a week and it has been a lovely experience. The staff is friendly, they make an effort to assist you whenever possible and they are available on a 24 hour basis. The food is actually well prepared and they have something for all palates (from Spicy to mild). The food is buffet style, however dining hours are strictly enforced due to the long hours of the staff. I would recommend this hotel to any visitors to Beijing. 

Very Friendly Staff and Great food 

Stayed overnight after arriving at around midnight. Check in was fairly easy and staff welcoming. Room was okay and everything operational. Internet was fast and very accessible. Only downside was the shower, water took ages to warm up and was leaking all over. Breakfast was average and filling. 

Overnight Stay

This large modern Hotel was constructed for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. It is located very close to the Shunyi Olympic Park Rowing Lake - the largest man-made facility of its kind. The Hotel Rooms are large, air conditioned and quiet - with all the usual facilities / tea/coffee maker and free bottles of drinking water, etc. The Internet connection is also reasonably good. The food is also good and not expensive. Last Sunday, July 27th, the temperature was 37C so be prepared with suntan lotion, hat etc at that time of the year. A short 10 min Taxi ride will take you to the Cable Park which is impressive. They use all Rixen systems and are adding some new floating Obstacles shortly - and they have a nice Clubhouse on site. Enjoy !
