Stayed two nights with family for a trip to Tianmuhu. I liked the premises located and developed from a pristine area around the lake rich with hotspring, which supposedly makes a great place for a peaceful vacation. The crowd spoiled it though, in the hotspring/restaurants/breakfasts etc. It is one of those places not suitable for everyone I guess.

Too crowded for a resort

Visited for one night as a transit point on business. It's a resort-style hotel and is quite sprawling - there's a lot to walk and they have golf carts to take you to the lobby.
Room is well appointed with comfortable beds, well working AC and comfortable in general, if a tad old-fashioned in decor. My room also had a slight smoke smell in it.
Breakfast spread is decent too, and the WiFi is strong.
Was travelling on business so couldn't check out the facility properly but will consider it should I return to China and the area on vacation.

Nice hotel in a scenic location

A really nice and beautiful location - open your window in the morning and soak in the nature and its sounds.
Reception was friendly and welcoming.
Rooms are quite large but lack good finishing and windows could be better quality just as the soundproofing of the rooms.

Our dinner in the hotels restaurant was less impressive - couldn't really find anything tasty at the buffet. At least the beer was chilled.

One can say the hotel staff tries and it isn't a bad hotel but for the price you may expect a bit more.

Great peaceful scenery but average hotel

I stayed here for a work visit in the area. The location is very beautiful and well located. Lake around the hotel is very serene. The restaurant on 9th floor was also very good local cuisine. Some suggestions for improvement: the trees and bushes along the lakeside walk are too tall and block views. Also the gymnasium should open earlier in morning or be 24-hours. The hallways are confusing and need more directions to elevators from lobby for building-1.

Beautiful resort and lake location

Great spacious property, enjoyed the morning walk around the lake. Spending time in the open- air coffee shop near the lake was a memorable experience (but do apply bug spray). Has a good recreation center with a couple of TT tables, swimming pool, kids play area that includes video games.Has a few dinner options ( either in the same building or in another building in the same campus). Rooms and Toilets are quite OK. Staff is extremely friendly and service minded.

Good property, excellent view to the lake

The location have a lot to offer and the hotel itself is GRAND. Still somewhat disappointed mainly because the staff is so confused and lack English skills. 

They are kind and do their best but it's not ok to have to wait 50 min to get the room and then have to change room 3 times until you get the room you ordered and paid for. Long story, but I ordered and paired for a sea view room, and they think a window facing a rock wall also is s nice view... 

Turns out (a few hrs later) that they don't understand the word "sea view" and therefore could not understand that I meant "lake view", hence insisting to give me wrong rooms. 

My mistake, but I ordered the "lake view" room online so the should have given me it from beginning.. ;-)

A hotel located near the hot springs and lake are attractive to lots of people, at the same time and it's a mess. The choice of restaurants are limited and only too expensive options are available. If you decide to stay there a visit to the hot springs are most recommended.
