This hostel is a very nice place to stay in Chengdu. The room is spacious and clean. The lobby is nicely decorated. The guys at the front desk were very friendly, and they speak English. The subway is on a 5 minute walk. The area itself hasn't much to offer, but there is a convenience store right next to the hostel. Self-service laundry is available upstairs for a very low price.
Also, the hotel cat was such a cutie! :)

Nice atmosphere

The hostel is very well located (many restaurants, shops and bars near the hostel), rooms are spacious and clean, beds are confortable and the staff is very friendly. We had a great stay - only stayed one night but wished we had stayed longer !

Very nice hostel

I came Chengdu on 19th Oct 2016 and got here after purchasing tickets to Jiuzhaigou, which departure on the next day.
I booked 3 beds in 6 bed female dormitory room from July. Price was same with others hostel in Chengdu
The thing I love most here is very good location, just 5 minute walk to nearest metro line. We went around city in 7 days staying. It's very convenient. 
Luckily I can speak Chinese so there was no problem in communication, even we had a new Chinese friend who was receptionist there. We still contact now.  Staffs here can speak English also. There were many foreigner coming. 
The reason why I rate 4 marks because room facilities here looked old. Room is small as well. The one we booked in Emeishan called Dove Flower International Youth Hostel, which is in YHA chain was much more beautiful yet price was cheaper. 
Anyway, I still like Chengdu No4 Jinling Road IYH. It made my memories :)

Good location and staffs

Cozy and clean room, it is at the city centre but at the back of the Main Street. Easy to find restaurants to have cheap and good food in the residential area. It is also close to the metro station so you can easily to go anywhere in the city.
