Located in the historic center of Dalí, in a quiet area a few minutes from the main streets.It is a simple and economical accommodation, with clean and comfortable rooms.The individual rooms have no air conditioning but an electric blanket.As the area is not too cold in December it was enough.The bathroom, which has no shower separation and floods even if you get some shower shoes.A suitable option if you are looking for a good price.

Clean and affordable accommodation in the centre of Dali.

Charming hostel. Located right in the Dali old town, with a wonderful view of the mountain landscape from the rooftop. Very helpful and kind hosts. Stay. P.S. Make sure you turn the heating up as soon as you arrive, it can be pretty cold in the room otherwise.

Fantastic Place

Nice room in a nice hotel in the old town. Kitchen and plenty of books in several languages. They can also arrange towers up to the Tiger Leap Gorge (among others).

Friendly room and staff

We stayed a few nights in one of the dorms and the beds were amazing. Big, comfortable, clean... Probably the best beds we've seen in China. The staff is very kind and the rooftop terrace with its hammocks is perfect for chilling.

Super comfortable rooms

nice big washroom facilities location very good. owners are really friendly and helpful. there's a useful map by reception with the locations of eateries and cafes. walking distance to the busier tourist lanes

Stay - very good

I stayed here for four nights and it's definitely one of the much better hostels I've encountered. Rooms and washing facilities are very clean and the dormitory beds are the largest, most comfortable I've slept on in China. They also all have curtains for added privacy. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the affordable 'Build Your Own Breakfast' option is awesome. Also, the view of the nearby mountains from the roof terrace is wonderful, especially when swinging in one of the hammocks, and there is plenty of space up there to hang laundry.

Excellent facilities and atmosphere.

Beautiful design, very thoughtful & comfy. Each bed has curtains for privacy, the rooms are clean, the bar is big and cozy, the rooftop deck is incredible. Terrific location, quiet but within walking distance of everything. Wonderful owners, super helpful employees, everyone is fluent in English, everyone is warm and funny. We had a blast and would go back in a heartbeat.

Terrific! We planned to spend 2 days here and stayed for 4

It's nice to be able to sit in the hostel yard in the evening when it's mild. The beds are great and the staff are nice. Plus you can have a cheap breakfast.

Resting

Located 5 minutes walk from the bus stops, and one of the city entrances, Dragonfly is both very central, while being in a small quiet alley, 10 minutes walk from the busy center. Bedrooms or budget rooms are organized around a small central courtyard. On the first floor, small friendly bar-lounge. On the last floor, beautiful roof terrace overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains; laundry bins, washing machines and laundry racks. A two-bedroom, clear and clean, with modern shower room.

A good hotel at the price of a guest house

This is my first experience report that I am writing. But I have a concern to thank the owners of the Dragonfly for the wonderful hospitality time. Instead of two nights we stayed in Dali for over two weeks. Sometimes the Dragonfly was a reason for this. The owners and their team make people feel at home. They take care of their guests lovingly, help with tips and even provide an extra service. The guesthouse is clean and lovingly furnished. The bar as the center of the guesthouse works great as a meeting point for travelers. I wish the Dragonfly all the best for its long and successful future.
