Stayed as free transit hotel from China Southern. Hotel is really nice, huge rooms and restaurant okay too. Behind hotel there’s a long boulevard with lots of restaurants, convenience store etc. Helps if you speak chinese - not much english spoken. Breakfast had big selection, i would pay for this in future. Check-in super speedy too.

Transit stay

Stayed here as a part of my transit through China Southern Airlines. The hotel itself is fairly well appointed and the rooms are very spacious. More than suitable for a sleep / relax between long haul flights. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spacious. The hotel itself is not so bad - the Area its in though is a bit rough. There are a few shops around if you want to get out and grab some food - all cash though so be sure to have some local currency. 

Warning - it appears most rooms are smoking rooms. So they do all stink slightly of cigarette smoke. If this inst your thing, maybe try and request a non-smoking room. There is also a free breakfast if you arrive in the morning up on level 2.

Not a bad room for a transit hotel

Being close to Guangdong Baiyun Airport, this hotel is mainly used by airline crew and transit passengers. We had an early flight the next day and hence were booked into this hotel for one night. 
Our room was rather dark and we had to switch on all the lights. The wifi was not working properly and the TV signal was weak. To their credit, when we called housekeeping, the technicians came quickly and resolved the problems. 
The dining area for breakfast was in the bar/lounge. Food was average.

Good for Transit


Stayed here as a part of my transit through China Southern Airlines... The rooms are decent and have everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Room was relatively clean.. No ambience observed. Breakfast was average  .. Lots of restaurants are in the back lane of hotel and some  convenience store too & nothing else nearby.



Huge property 

Decent hotel with basic amenities. Like embassy suites the rooms open in to a large hall used for gatherings and events. The hotel can be quite noisy if there are events going on. The rooms are decent and have everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds are very firm and can take some getting used to. The hotel has a musty smell in the corridors and they allow smoking inside the hotel. If you are sensitive to this you may want to consider before booking. 

Clean room with pretty basic amenities

Stayed here for one night as a free transit hotel from china southern airlines. Arrived to the hotel at midnight. Check in was fairly fast & efficient and to our surprise, we got an upgrade to a full suite - two massive couches which could sleep up to 3 ppl, one king size bed and one double which all up could fit possibly 6-7 people. 

Hotel area - was dark with dim corridor lights, Freaky & creepy really!. Large hotel with many rooms.
Room - was relatively clean i guess (maybe cos it was dark in the room!). Decent amenities but old and outdated.
Service - only reason i rated a 3 star was because of the upgrade and fast check out. Airport transfers every 1 hour which was decent.
Buffet breakfast - one of the worst ive tried really. 
Location - close to the airport. Approx 15-20 mins drive with no traffic. Approx 5-10 min walk to the metro station which was a plus. However, took us approx 1 - 1.5 hours to get to beijing lu in town. Metro was hectic with so many people - be ready to stand and get squashed in the metro for that amount of time.

Definately not a 5 star hotel (as per their adverts in the elevators). Sufficient for one night stay for free but certainly we wont pay to stay.

Old, creepy but good customer service

We were informed that "all rooms are the same" after we called about being placed in a smoking room. Ours smelled of smoke as did the elevator and every floor. Ashtrays everywhere... it's non-smoking while you are in the bed only! What a joke - false listing on trip advisor, do not book this dark hotel
