Good : 
1. Very nice hotel with hot water and clean rooms.  
2. Very near to the shopping area of West Street and convenient to search for food.  3. Also, they have service for bicycle rent which you will find helpful. 
4. Very helpful and friendly owner.
Downside : 
1. A bit far from where the bus/van pick you up or let you off.  You have to walk 300-400m to the hotel after getting off the bus.  However, they will help to bring your luggage.

Nice Stay Nice Owner

I liked the room, the most comfortable bed, there is a balcony with a table where you can have breakfast. Delicious breakfasts by the way, to the free meal we always chose more buns and all kinds of delicious things, cheap) in the jacuzzi room))) the location is convenient, you can take excursions, bicycles right in the hotel.

The place is more like a Inn then a Hotel to me. Having a Good Location in downtown West Street, but quietly hidden in Longmu alley. Only 10 -  15 minutes walking from the bus station, a 10 minutes walking to Li-river.  Bamboo House Hotel is the sister hotel of Bamboo House Resort.  Reasonable size quite rooms with comfy bed, nice shower with bathtub, aircon and tv etc for me as a solo traveller is good with reasonable pricing. Exit from the hotel either side have many shops, eatery, restaurants, cafe...a place that easy access to anywhere.  The owner is nice and helpful.....arranging tours at a really good rate.  The only thing is the place is getting old need some up lifting to make it looks cleaner.  Overall, the stay is still good.

Good Location!!!

Stayed here first 2 nights then 1 more. Best bed we had in China for 6 weeks. Friendly staff/owner. Help us with buss tickets that became cheaper then buying from buss buss station. Good price and you can't get better location. In West Street but quiet at night.

I went there in August 2013 hotel annexe of the bamboo hotel do not confuse even proprio but more interesting rates. For the right hotel price for the household nothing is done during your stay except the decoration of your bed the towels are very very worn!! but it remains a clean hotel!! staff not very nice but well they speak English The reception of the hotel is very dark it is better to go get his very good breakfast at the other hotel on the first day bamboo we eat out and it is very good advantage even if rental of a bike can not really 10 yuan by bike and in addition we can not bring them back since they are at the foot of the hotel for 180 people by Yu can say that it is very far and clean.

cheap hotel

It's a very nice little hotel! Large, clean, well equipped rooms with even a terrace and a huge jacuzzi! Central location but still quiet Little advice 'preferably choose yangshuo rather than guilin because it's less touristy and more interesting although unfortunately far from guilin airport...
